Ok, let’s see now. So far I’ve seen:

* Google is pretty much playing it straight… except their search requests also include a link to their Jobs page - ‘We’re Hiring Autocompleters!’

*YouTube is apparently celebrating 100 years, with a few vintage clips, and different logo.

* The Team Fortress 2 wiki has a very convincing page explaining that the wooden cow cutouts will now be melee weapons for the Heavy.

* Minecraft has in-game ‘locked crates’ parodying the MannCo crates in Team Fortress. When clicked on, they lead to a bogus ‘items for sale’ site, with things like Creeper Saddles and Response From Support.

* Kingdom of Loathing has some pretty epic April Fool’s content - Fighting the butts of the various dev team, a trophy that can only be achieved if you have less than 10,000 Meat (trophies cost 10K Meat to activate…), and the actual, legitimate return of the Spectral Pickle Factory.

On Youtube you can also 1911-ify a video, basically muting it, adding a scratchy sepia screen, and playing silent movie-esque piano accompaniment.

One’s I’ve heard about (but didn’t get links for):
* Artline (maker of pens and rival of Bic) were releasing a pen with a microchip in it which would send tweets as you write.
* Ikea had announced their high-chair for dogs
* A nessie-type critter was spotted sporting in Sydney Harbour.  They even called up an expert by the name of Tsuj Gniddik…
* Local fishermen had headed up the Swan River (our major river here in Perth) to catch blowfish that they were then going to sell to the Japanese.
* One of the local breakfast radio crew announced that a team from Justin Bieber’s entourage were in town to film adoring fans to put up as a back-drop at Bieber’s up-coming concert in Perth.

Oh, and I think this is something I really want…

Nice! (The “I want” thing…)  Though I found it both disturbing and funny that they had to put “No actual cats were harmed” as one of the selling points!  

Each year on April 1 they put out a news release with some April Fools prank in it.  This is one that they pulled at work this year.
