I always figured that the trick would be to train 365 or 366 people each year, each to firmly believe that the Rapture would occur on a different day of the next year. That way there would be somebody expecting the Rapture to occur each and every day, thus preventing the Rapture from happening according to Matthew 24:42.
And what happens if one of those people dies before the date they believe?
Wouldn’t it just be easier for the person setting up these hundreds of people to just believe that the Rapture is going to happen every day? Each night at bedtime, since it didn’t happen that day, they can firmly state their belief that the Rapture will surely happen the next.
