Heh… I just picked up a Prachett book off our communal library at work a couple days ago… interesting reading, but I can imagine having enough knowledge after half a book to enjoy the show in a meaningful and understanding way downer

You don’t need to have read any Pratchett before to enjoy the programme. It’s a direct adaptation of the book. smile

I (despite having posted what time it started at) thought it was starting at 7pm yesterday, so missed half of it.
However, both parts are repeated on Friday from 6pm onwards.

The first part was excellent, and we’re just settling down to watch the second part.
I’d say it’s a fairly good adaptation, even for such a die-hard Pratchett fan as I am.

I haven’t read much Pratchett.  Berlyn keeps leaving them over here, (like ‘Bad Omens’ which is on a shelf within arm’s reach) but I can’t really seem to get in to his style…
