I saw a trailer for it the other evening - I got hugely excited and then had to explain to a puzzled Chris just why I was bouncing up and down…

I seem to recall Colour of Magic being done, but it’s not been out here yet.  And we didn’t get the Hogfather until two years after it was made. downer

I simply forwarded the link to my Pratchett-loving friend who is withholding judgment until she can see it, but has already expressed disappointment at Vetinari’s character design not matching descriptions.  Or something.  I didn’t figure it was particularly newsworthy, but if you’re asking…

And i was merely trying to say that I was kinda disappointed that I didn’t understand more of the hidden symbolism in the trailers because i hadn’t read the books. I thought it looked interesting and a bit quirky. wink
