(I do love Richard Coyle generally… I can see him playing Moist very well.)

I saw a trailer for it the other evening - I got hugely excited and then had to explain to a puzzled Chris just why I was bouncing up and down…

Awesome!  Wonder when we’ll get that over here…

I seem to recall Colour of Magic being done, but it’s not been out here yet.  And we didn’t get the Hogfather until two years after it was made. downer

Huh…and according to Terry Pratchett’s IMDB profile, they’re working on Wee Free Men, too!

Smerk the cutest dragon
Lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist
In Western Australi

Little Accipiter loved that girl enough
He told her jokes and crazy facts
And other forum stuff

Smerk the cutest dragon:
Traveled cross the sea,
To hunt her prey in foriegn lands,
And snuggle with Acci!

Smerk the cutest dragon
Is getting married now they say
Though little Accipiter
Has yet to name the day.

BTW, here’s a note to people who don’t read Pratchett.

*ahem*

But then how would you know about my specific non-interest? Maybe I did read the books and I’m not interested.  If I don’t comment and specify you wouldn’t know!

I simply forwarded the link to my Pratchett-loving friend who is withholding judgment until she can see it, but has already expressed disappointment at Vetinari’s character design not matching descriptions.  Or something.  I didn’t figure it was particularly newsworthy, but if you’re asking…

And i was merely trying to say that I was kinda disappointed that I didn’t understand more of the hidden symbolism in the trailers because i hadn’t read the books. I thought it looked interesting and a bit quirky. wink
