I’m worried about seeing it in 3D because when I went to see Alice, the 3D didn’t quite work with me. I kept seeing double of everything and had trouble focusing. Of my group, only one other person had the same problem, the other one who wears glasses. I think it’s because I’m seeing part clear (where i look out my own glasses) and part blurry (above my glasses but still inside the 3D glasses), so my brain can’t quite match it up and I see double of everything. I’d get contacts but my prescription expired, so I’d have to make an eye appointment and all that. I wish I had vision insurance.
One interesting thing of note in the film.. It looks like Sam Flynn gets digitized into the system at a MUCH higher resolution than the older programs, leather jacket and all… And make sure you watch ALL the video… The last three seconds.. wooo.
It should be noted that, unlike the original film, the suits in this one are actually electroluminescent. They actually DO glow, with minimal editing, compared to the hand-drawn glowing of the first film. Speaking of the original, there have been rumors and whispers that it may be re-released in theaters.
The Daft Punk sound track already sounds so fing awesome! You can listen to it streaming on the official Tron website (http://disney.go.com/tron/) though it’s a little annoying because they have annoying website sound effects over the music. I am so buying the album as soon as it is available on itunes.
