I’ve just created the Facebook group “Christian Front Hugging”. I don’t want to take any comments away from this forum so by all means keep posting here if people here wish to keep adding more comments on it.

I found it Peter, but after entering my opinion in the ‘Wall’ area, I was advised I couldn’t post on that wall (yes I was already logged onto Facebook).  Maybe my message was too long so I’ll put it here.

Do you need to join the Facebook group first before writing on the Wall? This is the first Facebook group I’ve created.

EDIT: I just saw you are in the group. I checked the settings and any member should be able to write on the Wall.

I think I probably wrote too much. 

Maybe I can break it down into separate Wall messages.  First I have to fix FuzzyButt’s breakfast.  I just got him up and he singing with Il Divo….......... (and this has nothing whatsoever to do with the topic)

So you’re not supposed to get all up in there and grind it out when you are hugging?  No wonder I don’t have any friends. 

I have to say this. I’m a Christian but so far I haven’t really heard any Christian songs I actually like. It’s like Christian music of today tries so hard to be inoffensive to me it lacks any kind of passion. I get more from listening to Madonna or Natalie Imbruglia.

The exception would be in the movies God Spell and Jesus Christ Superstar. But then these are movies that were made for the mainstream audience.

This Christian Side Hugging thing just seems like some pathetic extension to contemporary Christian music.

I like christian music from the 90’s and early 00’s.  Of course most people think it is blasphemy, but the bible says make a joyful noise, not make a southern gospel, white bread with mayonnaise on a white paper plate in a snow storm noise.  If I find it joyful, and you don’t that is your problem, you don’t have to listen.

Oh and Madonna or Natalie Imbruglia?  I might need to confiscate your man card.

I like Madonna ... she’s passionate, takes risks and is true to herself.
