Cyclones=tornadoes? If so we get plenty of those here during the right seasons.

No.  Cyclones=hurricanes.  Actually, they very rarely come as far south as Perth.  We just kinda get the tails of the things, so we end up with a few hot and humid days.

Not too many hurricanes this far inland, occasionally we will get rain dumped on us from the remnants of a hurricane.

Yeah. Bright move there, Man. Moving from somewhere that only has the inconvenience of a bit of cold and snow occasionally, to a place where you have that, a whole bunch MORE cld and snow, and tornadoes to boot! wink

I’ll keep my thrice a year frigid temps, thankyouverymuch! raspberry

And OOOOOH! I get to tell you all first, the boxes ALL went out today!! surprised (Though the price was, um, staggering….) Crafty forgot to check the difference between shipping of boxes and that of padded envelopes… so she was forced to part with a much larger portion f her hoard than she expected! LOL

(I would say something here in the vein of “I told you so”, but that would be unbecoming of such a gentleman as myself!) wink

And on a brighter note, my “adopted” daughter and her hubby may just join the forum! cheese
(We’ll take over one registration at a time!) cool grin

It is above freezing here right now, how is it there in snow land?  I’ve never seen a tornado, so getting hit by one is rare.  They aren’t so common right here, go north or west and they are more so.  Here in about 2 months things will be warming up here, while the snow will really be setting in there.  raspberry

Heh, you’d be lucky to get a refund, Dave.

We’re headed for fine and 36C on Christmas day here…I’m slightly worried, since we’re going to my sister’s place for lunch, and they don’t have air con…

We’re at 27F right now, with 24 inches of snow predicted for Christmas day.  They’re also warning of a possible ice storm, which is usually more of a concern in Iowa than up here, but…
