Just to see what it looks like, and be the first to create a poll!

Soldier: This is the worst part. The calm before the battle.
Fry: And then the battle is not so bad?
Soldier: Oh, right. I forgot about the battle.

I have to admit to liking the old forum (for now). This one doesn’t seem as cosy…
And congratulations on being the first to create a poll!

I agree with Boo.  I guess it’ll take some getting used to.  And then we’ll look back on the old forum with fond memories one day! smile

Well, I should be able to make the new forum look a lot like the old forum, if that’s what people want.

I think it’s just going to take some getting used to. People always resist change, but I’m kinda starting to like it as is. JMO, though.

I’m a tad confused. suddenly we all seem to have ranks- i understand ‘moderator’ and of course ‘administrator’, but what distinguishes a ‘Member’ from a ‘New member’, a ‘Member Plus’ and a ‘New Member’?

i’m also very keen to see where i, as an occasional poster, fit into this food chain

New member vs. member vs. Jr. member, etc I think is just tied to your total number of posts within the forum. The whole Member vs. Member Plus or Member Plus Plus is what seperates Moderators from regular visitors…

It takes about 25 posts to become a Jr Member, then 50 to become a full fledged member. Also indicated by the little green squares.
