This is an article called Electro-Mania from Scientific American- August 5, 1882. Its a really interesting read but it might be only for real nerds like me raspberry Talks about some of the foolish claims being made at that time using electricity. Mentions alot of names and places which for me always leads to hours of looking this stuff up for fun lol.

I hope someone enjoys it…

I’m reminded of the ‘uses for radiation’ that used to come up.. even when they knew it was harmful enough not to use it as a patent medicine, there wa still talk of nuclear-powered cars and tunnel-diggers employing a horizontal version of China Syndrome..

1: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. If it does what it says, you should have no problem with this.
2: What proof will you accept that you are wrong? You ask us to change our mind, but we cannot change yours?
3: If a conspiracy theory stopped at one claim, they might be believable. However, in the search for ‘truth’, conspiracies will expand their claims to encompass many other claims.

What part of ‘meow’ don’t you understand?

Well, it’s quite possible that many of the people who read that article in 1911 really are toothless, hairless, and/or insane now. . .

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape.

That’s probably due to the special miracle health effects of radiation and electricity!
