Sharruma Vs the Super Diet

I’m a fat person, currently 331 pounds when I weighed myself this morning.

I’m about to start one of those super diet fads to see if it works
This mixed into a touch of homeopathy which I’m not into should make
for some interesting results.

I’ll be on the diet for a matter of 21 days at which point I’m supposed to eat senisibly
but more normally for as long so after this 21 days I’ll be waiting until after xmas to continue the
diet.

Any way, I thought I’d keep everyone informed of my progress, if any, and plan to use this thread to do so.

Weight Watchers works too. I did it but didn’t follow it like I should. I’m glad your doing this. We all need to do things for ourselves. Being a woman a lot of times I get too busy caring for everyone else. Just make sure you do this with your doc.

Sounds like a plan Sharruma.  I hope you manage to get to your goal.  Are you going to work in some sort of exercise plan in addition to the diet?  It would certainly help with the weight loss.

We (wife is also on the diet) consulted a doctor before starting but won’t be using one during


Exercise is planned but whether or not it happens is another matter. smile

Apparnetly there are several types of fat.

Theres a type that your body gives to and takes from regularly
and there’s a more settled type that the body doesn’t want to take from

The magic potion contains a hormone that is supposed to tell the body that all the
fat is is of the first type so it’s ‘supposedly’ not so easy to regain as it
is from normal diets.

Secondly it’s supposed to stop the body from getting hungry

though I feel as if I’ve been hungry for most of the day. Perhaps it would be worse without the potion

The hardest part so far is, I like to snack and obviously I’m not allowed to
on this diet.

Keep in mind that no diet plan is all that likely to be perfect for you.  Every person’s body, metabolism, environment, and so on is unique.  All these plans such as the Atkins Diet, South Beach Diet, Weight Watchers and so on are nothing more than guideline.  You have to use common sense, and not stick with working one single angle.  Exercise alone or being careful of what you eat alone probably won’t be enough to do much that is permanent or safe; you need to change your whole lifestyle.  And to stick with it, too, which is apparently the hardest part!

Of course, that’s the type that your body uses to do things such as protect your heart from damage.  Probably not a good idea to get rid of it.  wink
