United Airlines learned its lesson the hard way that David Carroll was not just another customer.
After baggage handlers at United broke his guitar last summer and the airline refused to pay for the $1,200 repair, Mr. Carroll, a Canadian singer, created a music video titled
Hmmm. . .Interestingly enough, it was United Airlines that misplaced a certain Aussie’s luggage when she traveled to the US, sending it from LA to San Diego instead of from LA to Baltimore. Though in that case they quickly mailed it by FedEx to Maryland, where it arrived a couple of days later.
