Well, I’ve just finished my second story and I’m renewing my efforts to get the things published. Dunno how good they actually are, but that’s a different problem entirely…

Anyway, I decided that I’m going to try to get a literary agent since that seems to be the best way to get stuff published. You guys all seem very accomplished, so I was wondering if you had any advice on this venture. Thus far, I’ve been looking into agents via the internet. The first one I tried to e-mail (as per their instructions) and got a “Sorry, your e-mail couldn’t reach the destination” response a few days later. The second one I looked into was nixed as my first story was about 10,000 words shorter than their requirement for Juvenile Fiction.

Sharruma might be the person here to get some advice from regarding fiction works.

I think Shar ended up getting his book self-published.  He didn’t have much joy sending the manuscripts off to various publishers.
