The Evolution of Physics? I’ve never even heard of that book before (and it doesn’t get mentioned in the wikipedia article about Einstein). It would have made more sense if the joke had picked one of the famous years in his career… like the year he published all his famous papers, or the year he was awarded the nobel prize. Sorry to whine about this. It’s the history of science major in me coming out.

I hate to be picky… but 1999 is also the wrong year for the Lewinsky affair, which is what I assume the joke is referring to.

(Oh, and I’m assuming you didn’t write the joke yourself, thunderstruck… if you did just ignore me… it’s a really good joke, but incorrect historical dates are one of my pet peeves.)

Thunder is like 16 years old and can be cut some slack….(and between U and Me, Alex, I think the mouse jumped off the wheel)

I know what you are talking about….don’t correct me, “I” correct you!  anyway,
I was stating the geographical locations of where I heard people talk like that. None were listed…...so I listed a couple…If thats OK with you….. hmmm
