Any (amateur) meteorologist got any ideas on these?

They apparently stretched over more than 100 kilometers.

They’re called gravity waves, (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravity_wave) and usually result when a mass of air is deflected upwards by something on the ground (e.g. mountains, etc.), then oscillates up and down for a while until equilibrium is restored.
