Ok, can anybody help me?
When I switched on my TV today, it’s stuck on subtitled programming. I can’t work out how to turn it off!
I’ve tried going into the ‘change display and audio settings’ menu on our VBox, but it just freezes and refuses to do anything, even go back to the previous menu.
I know there must be something simple to do, but I’ve lost the manual…

And it was a pretty obvious solution, too.

Turn it off then on again at the plug?

Remember, it may be a Scottish television set.  So probably she wasn’t using the right cuss-words.

Nope, it wasn’t turning it off and on again.

In case anyone wants to know (I’m guessing you don’t care), it was just pressing the ‘guide’ button, and then the blue one.

Ex Associate, a VBox is a cable set-top box distributed by Virgin, that comes with Virgin Media TV.

Boo, try the ‘Guide’ button.  Then you’ll probably have to hit another one.  More than likely the blue one.

Somehow I don’t think we’re talking about the same thing, Transfrmr. wink

More than that I won’t say because it will probably get me in trouble (and perforated by many sporks - or at least many times by a few sporks). cheese
