Mouse Jacket Grown, Euthanized In Museum Lab

The piece was actually a living jacket crafted from mouse embryonic stem cells, fed nutrients through tubes. But after five weeks, it grew too large for its containment flask and had to be killed.

I still cant believe it though still cant.....next thing you know youre leather jacket strangles you to death and devours you whole then slowly goes to the rest of your family and when the police come there will be no evidence AND no witnesses....... grrr

Burn victims can receive sheets of skin cultured from their own skin cells. The sheets are then grafted over the burned areas of their body.

Why not make people leather jackets?

Wait… ok. Yeah. I see your point. Can you imagine going into a mall that had Tattooed Skin Jackets on sale?? YIKES! It would have to look like Ed Gein’s house… and probably smell as bad, too. raspberry GROSS!

Ah, but if you make a jacket of your *own* skin, then it’d be perfectly all right.

However, cloned human flesh wouldn’t be considered kosher.
