My thermometer says it 52F/11C here right now. And very cloudy. It’s supposedly going to get to 64F/18C today. And still be cloudy.

*yawn* morning all.
Whole Earth Festival is in full swing. Already I can hear the drum circles (drums.. drums in the deep.. they are coming..). I took a quick swing through yesterday, and saw a few things I might need to get.. Some very nice leatherbound journals with handmade cotton pages looked good. I also had a lovely vegetarian gyro with amazingly good tatziki sauce. One thing the event prides itself on is being Zero Waste. Everything is recycled or composted. Dishes are non-disposable plastic, with real cups and metal utensils. There is a deposit on them, which can be recovered when you turn them back in at special booths for washing and reuse. It’s actually *VERY* organized compared to other ‘hippyfests’, but maintains a good chunk of counterculture style.
