Erik sent this along to me.  Some of you may be familiar with Dr. Titiana already:

Erik’s note:  “There’s an evolutionary biologist, her real name is Olivia Judson, who wrote a book about sexual selection in animals called Dr. Tatiana’s Guide… I found out that they turned into a TV show which has only been shown overseas.  Of course, You Tube has clips.  They are accurate and funny!”

The last one depicting exploding boy bees is pretty......................uncomfortably funny!

NOTE:  Erik suggested, and I think he’s right, there are too many ‘prudes’ in the US so it’ll probably never be shown here....he’s trying to find the DVD (so far without much success)

Not porn at all, but very graphic.  It’s difficult to explain.  She’s actually a young researcher into evolution and selection, but her approach is hilarious while it’s absolutely accurate.  If I had a teacher like this in school, I would have been hanging onto every single word and waiting for more.

These are gradituitous clips for sure though and I’m not sure very young children should watch them, she’s a beautiful woman herself and she’s absolutely uninhibited in her approach and her sense of humor is flawless

Are you going through some ‘changes’ in your life, Huli?  First it was all this talk about how large your breasts are getting, and now you’re linking scientist pr0n.  Where will it end?

Well I knew about Dr. Tatiana’s guide, but I didn’t know about the TV series, which is brilliant.
LOL

Also EnhanceTV in Australia have all three parts on DVD:

They’re about $40 (AU) each. Perhaps you could reach an agreement with Smerk? (If you can’t find them locally.)

How does she walk across the beach in heels?  In the US, anything is proper and acceptable if proclaimed in an English accent.  This will end up on one of the science or history channels late night.

I don’t gamble ex, EXCEPT when I know the odds are definitely in my favor............  If I was to place a bet on this though, I would definitely say this will never be shown in this country no matter the time of day.  This is STILL a land of Puritans who would take unusual and grand delight in burning a ‘witch who can walk on sand in stillitos’ at the stake!

Accents and their Authority

English- Well educated, intelligent, confident and would not lie to you. Anything said is correct.

Scottish- Whoever is speaking is a bit of a diamond in the rough, possible mildly eccentric, but a genius. Very capable with practicalities and innovative. Anything said is a stroke of genius.

Welsh- Misleading, anyone with that accent must be cleverer than they sound. Anything said is probably right.

Irish- Anything said is probably not correct but you’ll want to believe it anyway due to the gift of the gab.

American- Sounds like a used car salesman trying to sell you something. Might be lying or just plain wrong. Anything said should be cross-referenced with other sources.

Canadian- Accent belies better education. Wouldn’t lie to you so you can trust them. Anything said is in your best interest and should be followed because they want what’s best for you.

Australian- Doesn’t sound too well educated but accent belies much practical experience. Anything said is probably correct because they’ve done something similar before out in the bush.

I fall into all three categories, BUT the upside is if you cross-reference the last with the other two, I’m ‘sparklingly-spectacular’?

[Renquist, these are brilliant!]
