Oh, never mind about PM—I just found it. Aaaauuuugh!

Amazing talent, though—to take an innocuous little thread about a pirate flag and turn it into a (subtle) racist diatribe. Mind you, it may be an amazing talent, but that doesn’t make it a good talent!

Actually, the guy reminds me a bit of my very least favorite brother-in-law. Not the racist part, but the “You people are stupid and blind” part.

And with that, I’d better log off and enter the steamy jungle of Magazine Deadline Land. I’m a-goin’ to kick me some deadline booty.

Have fun, Kathleen!
(Or, at least, try to.)

Love that quote, Robin—if I’m ever a best-selling author, I might adopt that attitude myself.

But it’ll be OK. I will have some fun, Boo. I mean, it’s writing, not going to the dentist.

I’ll try to check back this afternoon.

Two chinese style rib steaks and a white choc dip doesn’t really count as a healthy lunch, does it?

I’ve either bad trapped wind or bad indigestion. Either way it’s f***ing annoying. And I’ve to go meet a solicitor sometime this evening but she’s not e-mailed me back so I might make that trek up the hill for nothing.

Also, that girl I’ve been seeing has got a nice job down south. Unfortunately, it’s down south. Really down south. Hampshire down south. Which for you Yanks is roughly 430 miles, or 8 hours driving. Or a really expensive train ride. Or being touched up by 2 long haul lorry drivers while hitch-hiking down there. Which is probably the easiest option, actually. Because they touch my clackerpad they lose theirs. So I’m not in the best mood about that, although it’s an amazing job. She’ll be rolling in it and it was a really tough job to win. She’s just really good at what she does.

Might be wise to get a student rail card…

That kinda sucks, Ren, for you, although congratulations to her on getting the job.
