I always wanted a bust of Jimmy Stewart but I could never find one. downer

its psychological the mints take away the stress of the test but something like gum,tofee, cigarettes and beer can all take away stress(the last 2 were obviously jokes)

I think this is a variation on the “Chocolate improves test scores” study.

It came out in the earlie 90’s iff my memory serves me rite.

The differance from what you’re saying, and what the study said is thusly:

If you eat chocolate WHILE STUDYING the material.  And then right before the test, you eat some MORE chocolate…
Then test scores will be better than had you not done the combination of both activities:  eating the chocolate while studying AND eating chocolate right before the test.

BTW.  I don’t know if this really works.

*you seem to be a teacher, so I played around with my spelling.  LOL

  Ya know, they have found out that chocolate has the same chemicals in it that the brain releases during sex.
Hmm, could make for some interesting research.  8D

Anandamide and seratonin are 2 chemicals that you missed. Endorphins are released about anytime the body is stressed, like if you go to the gym.
