Aussie arrested for growing pot after reporting stolen plants
SYDNEY, Australia - An Australian man’s complaint of an break-in at his home went to pot today when police arrested him for growing marijuana.

South Australia police said the 35-year-old man in the central Australian city of Adelaide called police to report that six men had broken into his house and stolen parts of his cannabis plants.

Police were unable to find the intruders but brought a drug warrant to search the home, where they found six large cannabis plants growing in two bedrooms.

Police said in a statement that the man was charged with cultivating cannabis for sale.

It never ceases to amaze me how stupid some people can be.

Wasn’t there a guy in Germany recently who did something similar...?

Yeah, we had a guy like that in “HIGH” school.  We were out in the parking lot when one girl lifted a bag of pot from another girls purse.  John saw it happen and told the security guard.  The “victim” didn’t want to get involved because she was sane. 

Anyway, the security guard had the perp arrested for possession, but since the victim claimed she knew nothing about it, nothing happened to her.  They couldn’t prove it had been hers to begin with.  This pissed off John who felt that the security guard should have just given the girl her pot back.

I see reports like this in the news about twice a year or so, at least.  It seems that drug-induced states and telephone hotlines to the police do not mix well when both are in the hands of the same person.

People with high IQs should be alowed to use drugs freely.
Low IQ people however, are the ones you see getting busted, sometimes in situations so silly, it would make your head spin.
I was a pothead back in high-school. I hanged around al thoes moronic people.
I was called a “mello stoner” cuase I didn’t change at all when I was high. My amusment was watching thoes guys make fools of themselves.
