I just picked up ‘the director’s son’s cut of Erik The Viking’

Excellent movie Erik the Viking and I’m thinking director’s cut, they must have added new stuff in

Upon getting it home I discover it to be a good 10 minutes shorter than the original version, cut indeed.
it’s now only 79 minutes long, the original version was 89 minutes long

I haven’t watched it yet to see what they’ve cut out, but to say I’m pissed off would be to put it mildly.

Smerk the cutest dragon
Lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist
In Western Australi

Little Accipiter loved that girl enough
He told her jokes and crazy facts
And other forum stuff

Smerk the cutest dragon:
Traveled cross the sea,
To hunt her prey in foriegn lands,
And snuggle with Acci!

Smerk the cutest dragon
Is getting married now they say
Though little Accipiter
Has yet to name the day.

Hmm.. it’s been awhile since I’ve seen Erik. Good movie, though. Lamentably swept under the rug.

I reccomend Jabberwocky as well as the Adventures of Baron Munchausen, by fellow Python Terry Gilliam, also quite under-rated.
