By the way, FREAKS was a great movie. Cult classic.

Errrrr. . .yes, payment is made in cash, by means of a large wad of US$20 bills shoved into an envelope and mailed to me.  Gold ingots are also acceptable, although not when mailed cash-on-delivery.  Your certificate of admission shall be promptly mailed to you within two to eight business millennia.

And any movie that has Prince Randion in it has to be worth seeing.

I never saw why it was that offensive that it killed Todd Browning’s career.

I mean yeah, there’s real freaks in it. But hell, at least he USED real freaks. Today they’d have done it with CG. I’ll bet real freakshow members didn’t find it offensive. Only normal people took offense to it- the movie makes the ‘freaks’ out to be the normal ones and the ‘regular’ people are somewhat 50/50 divided between good and evil.

Too many lawsuits to make it today. Not PC enough.  That is why it is such a classic.
