President Bush’s watch disappears when he meets the Albanian crowd, many reported that somebody from the audience stole it. But he U.S. embassy spokesman and the Albanian Police say those reports are untrue.
President Bush was given a hero’s welcome in Albania. In this video he meets the Albanians at a public place. At the beginning of the video you can watch him wearing a watch, but as the video rolls on and when he comes into contact with too many of them, his watch disappears at about 0:55 seconds into the video. Some newspapers, television stations and websites discussed about this episode and reported that somebody from that audience stole George Bush’s watch.
But today, the Albanian Police and the U.S. embassy vehemently denied it and said those reports are untrue and said the wristwatch was not stolen.
“The story is untrue and the president did not lose his watch,“
a spokesman for the embassy in Tirana said.
The Albanian’s police director also said the same thing that the reports are not true.
Bush’s staff claims they still have the wrist watch, and say Bush handed the watch behind his back to his body guards.
I say: Show us the watch…
