Well, we’ve only got a week left of Life As We Know It.  I suppose I ought to get started on my wanton orgy of excess while there’s still time to enjoy it.

Don’t forget to bring the girls.  Hey, seriously, tho, does anyone here remember the movie or novel ‘On The Beach?‘ The film was shot in B&W in the early 60’s (that was the Cold War era, for you young folks), and was about a group of people who ended up in Southern Australia, as the last survivors of a thermonuclear war involving cobalt-enhanced warheads, and the radiation was going to wipe out all humanity.  The last of them end their lives on the beach.  I read the book in junior high school, but it was short, like a novella, I think.  Anyone?

I do remember ‘On The Beach’ Stork.  I recall too that there were a lot of these same kinds of predictions rumored during the same era. 

Oh, and :
1.  I AM a miracle, I do indeed get rebirthed every year but since I’m an alien that event is more like your phoenix fire and ashes myth;
2.  Second childhood?  Not yet, I’m still in my first one

OR

Maybe none of us have been born yet?  Maybe 9/12/06 is going to be a global birthday?  And this MoH event is a mass hallucination brought about by the throes of labor and influx of birthing drugs?

Okay, I’m confused, yet again

Hmmmm, wait a moment. . .the onset of nuclear war is predicted for the 12th of September.  Alex Jones predicts terrorism leading to World War Three by the end of October.  The Chinese are constructing miniature landscapes for mysterious reasons.  Five people are injured fighting over a pigeon.  A conspiracy is attempting to suppress this website.  It’s all becoming clear now:  the pigeons are plotting to start a nuclear war and wipe us all out!!!

So that’s what they’ve been planning!
