Did he? Then provide the evidence. In the “evidence” you supplied so far, he only CLAIMS, post-fact, to have predicted 9/11.

During my terrorism planning days - I predicted 9/11, too. Not the date, but the event. Actually, it was assumed by most that another attack on the WTC would come one day soon.

My latest predictions:
Isreal will attack a neighboring country.

The U.S. will be struck by a large hurricane during the presidency of George Bush.

A plane will crash and many people will be killed. While terrorism will be one of the suspected causes at first, officials will cover it up and attribute the cause to a combination of mechanical failure and crew mistakes in responding to the failure. They will hide the fact that the VP accidently shot it down.

Bird flu will show up in the U.S.  (cripes - this one just came true! Bird flu was just found in Michigan!)

A public transportation system in Europe will be attacked by terrorists.

A top NFL quarterback will get injured.

Those two major movie stars that just got married will get divorced, and a formerly black music superstar will do something really stupid involving his kids, someone else’s kids, a monkey, or all of the above.

I have some more, but have to stop now. My lunch break has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Dear albert,

The regular posting members of this site are highly intelligent and opinionated, just lilke you.  There is nothing wrong with that, nothing at all (somehow I faked my way onto this site, being neither, but no one has noticed yet, or at least I have proven myself too harmless to be bothered with).

But it is kind of an unspoken thing here, we do not reduce the arguments to personal insults, even if a detractor is truly a poopy-head and deserves to be named as such.

I enjoyed your postings and hope you hang around and keep on posting, but things will go a lot better for all of us to keep it civil.

By the way, I find some of your stuff quite plausible, but the hard part in evaluating these things is establishing what and when things were truly stated, and so on.

Okay, here’s what I could get for his July 2001 “prediction” of the 9/11 attacks.  The only source I could find of this was the heavily-edited video version that he released.  There is another version that’s apparently less edited, but you have to pay him in order to be allowed to see it. 

It’s broken up into segments, with the parts in between cut out in the video.  I also cut out a few parts on my own initiative, basically just parts at the start where he’s saying “welcome to this morning’s show” and telling people to look at the telephone numbers on the screen.  All the actual stuff about terrorism and the government and things like that I copied down.

I’m going to put the call out that you call the White House and tell them, “Look, we’ve seen the news stories that you wanted to blow things up and have blown things up and that you are saying four million of us are going to die and we need martial law. . .and the Associated press. . .one of your little “drills” you had?  And that we’re aware of who the terrorists are if you pull this.“  This can stop this Hitlerian Reichstadt event. . .

Call the White House and tell them, “We know the government’s planning terrorism, we know Oklahoma City and the World Trade Centre [that’s the 1993 bombing of the WTC, by the way] was terrorism, we know the Joint Chiefs of Staff wanted to blow up airliners Baltimore Sun, if you do it we’re going to blame you, because we know who’s up to it. Or if you let some terrorist group do it, like the World Trade Centre, we know who to blame.“

And here’s his latest prediction from his website:

Today’s red level terror alert in symbiosis with escalation of conflict in the Middle East is the trial balloon for a massive staged false flag terror attack, blamed on Hezbollah or Al-Qaeda, that will light the blue touch paper for World War Three.

Our leaders are already in ovverdrive assuring us we are in ultimate danger while assuring us everthing is being done for our protection. Glad to see the President could be roused from his 10 day Crawford vaction to deal with the contiuning mealtdown on the international stage.

So first, looking at his “prediction” of 9/11.

Basically, he never made any such prediction.  He just keeps saying, “if there is any terrorism”.  He does mention the World Trade Centre twice, but only when referring back to the bombing of it in 1993.  He only mentions Osama bin Laden as an example, which makes sense since this was not too long after bin Laden was implicated in attacking the USS Cole, and had already been involved in several other attacks against the US, and so was the #1 terrorist in the news.  He never says anything about an upcoming attack on New York or Washington DC.  He never once makes even the most vague and approximate guess as to when another attack may occur.  Where is this “prediction”?

He does say something about four million people dying and the White House declaring martial law. . .which hasn’t happened.

It’s also rather silly and preposterous of him to flatly declare that any terrorism that occurs is done by or at the direction of the government.

So when Alex Jones is declaring to the world that he predicted the 9/11 attacks months before they happened (and, incidentally, that he gained much of the information that he used in his prediction from a dream that he had, as he himself has said on several occasions and which really bolsters my confidence in his investigative techniques), he seems to me to be one of two things.  Either he’s self-deluded, or he’s just plain lying and hoping that all his followers will simply listen to him saying that he said it, and that they won’t actually go listen to what he really said.

Regarding his latest prediction:

This time he actually is making some predictions, and some rather ambitious ones at that (the start of World War Three!).  His claim:  the recent foiled terrorist attacks are a preliminary to something big yet unspecified that will occur by November, unless it doesn’t happen.

Of course, he doesn’t give any actual information to support this claim.  He just states it.  And he states it in as incredibly vague a manner as he possibly can.  He doesn’t say anything really about who will be targeted, or where, or who will be in this World War Three, or how we’re supposed to progress from a terrorist attack to a global war.

He then neatly goes and makes it so that no matter what happens, he can claim to have been right.  If any terrorist attack anywhere in the world where the US or any of its allies are involved does occur in the next couple of months, it will fit into his incredibly ambiguous prediction.  And if nothing happens, he can sit back and say that he managed to prevent it by giving out his warning.  It’s the same basic technique that fortune tellers have used for probably thousands of years.

And why couldn’t he have predicted the foiled terrorist attacks of a few days ago before they occured, if they were part of some grand scheme that he can see?
