In the story they mention that they found ‘bodily fluids’ on multiple objects they seized from the bench.

This is weird.

Guess he figured, ‘Well, if Clinton could get away with it on the phone to Putin…‘

Altho, guess it would be Hard to hide an Intern under the bench in public.

$7489.91 per month?  Some pension plan.  Taxpayers should be screaming for a number of reasons.

Actually, that’s just about average for State judges, here.  And a heck of a lot less than corporate CEOs’ golden parachutes.  Twenty four years on the bench would warrant that sort of pension.  But, under civil service rules in most states, and I believe, the Federal system, too, if you’re convicted of a crime related to the job (or even, ON the job, as this appears to be), and are sentenced to anymore than 60 days confinement, that sucker is GONE!  All of it.  He might not get sentenced to that long actual incarceration, with his spotless record, and all, and the fact that no one was actually harmed.  But he is gonna be one sooooorrry ex-judge!

Since these pumps are generally used by men who cannot get an erection without this kind of aid, I’m wondering what on earth this judge’s problem really is.

At the risk of sounding sexist, and I try very hard not to be, perhaps, well, maybe his wife wasn’t satisfying him enough?

Oh God, I’ve done it now - I can just see the rotten tomatoes and cabbage coming flying my way.  Sorry, ladies, but maybe that was his own perception.  Not mine, okay?

Even if he thought his wife wasn’t satisfying him enough, why would he use the device in the middle of a trial? Why not have an affair or use it in the privacy of his own home? The guy obviously has major problems. He would make a fascinating psychological case study.
