Those Strange Lights in Texas are the great piles of BullShite and HorsePuckey gathered there by the Bush Crime Family spontaneously combusting. They get even brighter near Crawford
"Some years ago he saw lights that were "bright bluish and red colors and would come together, then one would go away."
"It was unusual," he said. "
unusual- starts with a U, like UNDERSTATEMENT.

So, why doesn't someone go stand in the spot where the lights appear...and then report back to the people watching about what the heck is happening. Sheesh.
Because they are generally optical illusions caused by layers of warm air over the desert. If you were standing in the spot where the lights appear you don't see anything.
While a cool effect, they aren't mysterious or otherworldly. Anytime you've seen 'water' on the road ahead that disappeared as you came up to it, you've seen the same thing, albeit in a much less grand way. They have been seen all over the world, and on the oceans as well.

Well, that's exactly my point. They'd get out there and SEE NOTHING. That would explain the mystery for me.
