How can you say such a thing?
To even suggest that the children 'enjoyed' this rape is disgusting.
Rape is a horrible ordeal for anyone, especially children. Rape victims go through pain, fear,shame, not knowing if they should tell anyone.
While it is true that the girls did not die, they have to live with this for the rest of their lives. |

Okay, maybe I got a little worked up...and fine, opinions are someone else's right to free thought...
I just feel like there are some opionions that should not be opinions. Does that make sense??
Sort of like in this instance, I guess the rape of two children is more commonplace now - sorry, commonplace is not acceptable!! And the rape of an animal is less common (well it SHOULD BE, sheesh), so I understand the media (those damn liberal bastards ;o) making more out of the dog incident...BUT...while I feel for the dog and it's owners, I do not think a comparison can be made to the rape of the girls. Sort of like apple and oranges. Rape of an animal is gross, and weird. The rape of a person (a child especially) is revolting. (Somehow revolting doesn't seem like enough...Take your pick: abhorrent, abominable, appalling, awful, distasteful, dreadful, hideous, horrendous, horrible, horrid, loathsome, nasty, nauseating, obnoxious, obscene, repellent, repugnant, repulsive, scandalous, shocking, or sickening.)
Whatever...feel bad for the dog all you want. |

Maegan, the 'liberalness' of the media has nothing to do with it; they just wanted to write about a story that would get a lot of readers. Obviously, it did.
And, personally, I don't tend to have much sympathy for the dead, human or otherwise. They're dead! Help and empathy are for the living. Per my belief, their existence is over; but if that dog should happen to go to a christian heaven or hell, the rape wouldn't matter any. |

=( The whole incident was gross and terrible.
I feel bad for both the dog and the girls. XP i can only imagine how painful it was for the dog though, and it lost it's LIFE for that. Not saying the dog is more important then the girls, but the girls aren't more important then the dogs either. Poor dog, poor dogs, sick disgusting guy. He should have his pen*s ripped out. |

Hey stumbled onto this site, funny conversation.
Really to see the entire picture here I think it would only be revealing to look at all aspects of the story. you ar a human, so you don't know how a dog feels, but try to think of what it would be like if you were that poor dog. also, try to think of what it would be like if you were one or the other of those young girls who got raped. then turn it around and Try to think... why in the F**ck would someone do such hideous things, place yourself in the purpetrators shoes, what motive would he have for doing so horrible things. was it a result of abuse on his part? was it a neurological or psychological disarray? what would cause you to do some of the more horrible things you do. Everyone has flaws, some people just do worse things than others!
