Some people have speculated that this may be a publicity stunt for War of
the Worlds, opening soon. Watch the video linked below and decide for
yourself...
'Prophet' summons UFO for camera
Las Vegas TV station captures, broadcasts image
An ABC-TV affiliate in Las Vegas broadcast images of a UFO summoned by a
self-styled "prophet" who predicts many more will be seen throughout the
area next week.
Ramon Watkins, also known as "Prophet Yahweh" agreed to meet with a reporter
and camera crew of KTNV at a location of their choice and time.
What they witnessed, and captured on camera, stunned the reporter and crew.
Watkins claims to have seen some 1,500 UFOs over the last 25 years and has
learned to summon them by reading the Old Testament.
Yeah, the News footage is rather impressive... until you see all his other videos. Always the same setup: he checks the sky in one direction beforehand (knows where the sighting will happen), talks about the wind (reason for concern)... his UFOs all look like balloons, all behave like balloons. This one's a no brainer.
To be sure his crowd sees them, his buddy (a mile away or so) sometimes launches a few. All that's left to do then is make a prayer and set up a website.
Timing glitches: sometimes the balloons show up before the summoning. Well, Yahweh knew he was *going* to summon him...
I can't believe I fell for the first video. It's a good thing he's dumb enough to post all his other videos online as well so you can clearly see what he's doing.
I truly hate liars. He's got to crash and burn.

Check this site, there's a pic of him with his "UFOs". LOL
they are trying to say that picture doesn't look like him...
It is pretty obvious that it is him to me.

this guy is stupid he actually extpects us to believe him? someone should ask him to do it at night. He says theres gonna be loads of sightings this week, hes gonna need lots of balloons!

I think perhaps the partner-with-ballons-in-hiding seems the most plausible to me at this point.
I do wonder, however, if this was a legitimate news story initially, why no media follow-up? This would seem to be the type of story that gets picked up to grab ratings, but I haven't really seen it anywhere else.
"Yahweh has applied for the $1,000,000 JREF Paranormal Challenge."
Oh, that should be good! Hey, Al, should we bet on which lame excuse Yahweh uses to back out of the Challenge (or uses after he TAKES it and fails)?
I'm going with "There were skeptics present and their bad vibrations spoiled the test" (or are the reason he doesn't take it at all).

CMG,
Do you think the bookies there in Vegas will have a line on Prophet Yahweh? What kind of odds would there be on his passing? Would anyone here bet a dollar on 10 billion to 1? You would get exponentially better odds putting that dollar in a slot machine.

I've watched all the different footage(s) and this is really weird.
Also he doesn't charge...at least he isn't as of June 28, 2005. This link is clearly marked on his site:
Not to get religous, but this guy on his website (Some years back) claimed Jesus was a Homosexual and the bible shows it to be true. Basically he takes something as simple as a scripture that reads how Jesus loved his fellow man and or We are brides of Christ and it makes him a Homosexual. I think the guy is a member of a sector of Nation of Islam. I think its a hoax, but im waiting for the July 15 or 25 or whatever day he makes his finale!
