Yeah, so on "A Current Affair" on Fox they showed an already infamous video
shot in Manitoba by a ferry operator. It was a blob! A freakin blob with
legs! Apparently Fox paid a 6 figure sum for this video. Hopefully it can be
enhanced.
Anyway, anyone else hear about this or see it?

Too bad this video seems like a bunch of crap. I was excited when I first heard about it, but the fact that it was shown on "A Current Affair" makes me wonder... might as well just go for it and have a "Fear-Factor: Models vs. Sasquatch" episode. |

Thanks Fred. That helps prove my point. First we had rumors/ legends of Gaint Squid, then we find bits and pieces of them (read : Some possible proof) then we find the remains of them washed up on shore one day (read: proof).
Wippit - did you put any thought to your response? Or are you just suffering from teenage angst? If I spend the rest of my life looking for a rare animal, one that exists, I would eventualy come across one or the remains of one, or someone else will find it instead. I as yet do not know when the first reported Bigfoot sighting was but I do know it has been hunted for a LONG TIME, by a LOT OF PEOPLE and NO ONE has found any remains/corpses (read : physcial proof) All we have is blury photos, questionable videos and easy to make foot print casts. And what in the Name Of All That Is Still Good does the cause of death have to do with physcial remains? A corpse is a corpse is a corpse.
Buba, of course I know its all a hoax and Bigfoot/Yeti/Champ etc are just stories. I was just bringing up some valid logic.
Maybe I should have catered to the lowest common denominator.... |

one reason its so easy to hoax from the BBC: "The creature is one of about 30 varieties of titi monkey which can be found in the dense tropical rainforests of South America. There's Callicebus brunneus (Brown titi), Callicebus personatus (Masked titi), Callicebus moloch (Dusky titi) and then there's the new arrival, Callicebus aureipalatii - Golden Palace titi.
This latest species had the dubious fate of being discovered in an era of strident global capitalism - hence its name, the result of a charity auction eventually won by the online gambling emporium GoldenPalace.com.
Novelty names aside, though, it's surprising that on a planet which has been so comprehensively researched, circumnavigated and trampled over there are still new sorts of primate which have evaded human detection." |

Go find me a bear corpse that has died of natural causes. I wish you luck.
Go talk to any number of naturalists, bush pilots, hunters, RCMP officers or biologist and they will tell you that, yes, bear remains do in fact exist. People who work in the bush find physical remains of all kinds of animals, and no large bipedal creature can stay hidden in North America for long.
I used to stumble upon the remains of large mammals while hiking well far north of Norway House as a kid. We have never found *any* pysical evidence of sasquatch in hundreds of years. Sure, we find new species occasionally. Rarely do we find new mammal species (it just happened recently, the first in decades) and almost always the species are in highly specific microenvironments (e.g., deep ocean, rain forest canopies.)
For any population of large bipeds to be around for more than one generation we'd need a critical number of individuals. This number could be as high as thousands. That many individuals would just have to be found. The longer we don't find physical evidence, the more we can be sure that these things do not exist.
It should be noted that the some in the cryptozoologist community who want to believe in sasquatch so bad have taken to explaining away the lack of physical evidence by making claims that bigfoot is "interdimensional" so it can't leave (or chooses not to leave) physical evidence.
I don't know about you, but this kind of weak thinking makes my bullshit detector go off the scale. In technical terms, these guys are "making shit up." |

..."interdimensional"...
That's great. That ties up the mystery in a nice, neat little bow. Heh,heh, heh, love it. Maybe he will show up at that time traveller party too. |

Here's a possibility to explain the lack of bodies... What if they bury their dead? I'm not saying they exist, but who the heck knows.
And I think it's just one guy who's claiming they're interdimensional. There used to be a webpage about it, but I can't find it anymore. There's apparently a book, though. |

You're all idiots, everyone knows that sasquatch would not leave its corpse laying around for someone to find, then everyone would know its there. Big Foot shows himself when/if he has to to stay in the minds of the public. Also, the fact is that Nessies, Abominable Snowmen and such creatures live in remote places that make it impossible for us to find them and give them the advantage when we go looking for them.
Either they're smarter than us or they're extinct, nuff said !! |

Trib, try to be calm.
'Nessies' would live in Loch Ness. That is, after all, why they're called 'Nessies'. That's if they existed. Which they don't.
You've never seen the immense tourist trade around Loch Ness, have you? Remote places, my bum. |

Course i've seen loch ness.... i'm an urquhart, urquhart castle is supposed to be above an underwater tunnel that connects the loch to the ocean, thats y nessie has never been seen. The sasquatches are obviously out there. From california to northern manitoba people see these things that aren't bears and aren't people. So if u have a better explanation of what the hell is that f*cking big walking around in the woods i'd like to hear it pal.. sorry for the profanity but it gets on my nerves when people can't just believe for the sake of the myth, like santa clause, you wouldn't tell a 5 year old that santa and the easter bunny aren't real.... |

the reason no one has found any bigfoot dead is because the big foot spicies, nessi and a hole bunch of alines are geting ripped in an under water cave right now |

A previously unknown monkey species has been found in the mountains of southern Tanzania.
There may only be a thousand individuals left. |

I have come across bear carci, as well as many other forest creature's.
I live in the heart of Bigfoot Country (not too far from where the hoax Patterson tape was shot, Trinity County Calif.).
Out here, we LOVE Bigfoot, or more properly the $ brought in by gullible seachers.
A few days ago a neighbor (one of the few believers out here) who said he came upon some Bigfoot tracks once.
"Fakes" I opined.
"Why would someone go to the trouble of making fake tracks?", he asked.
I answered with "why do people go to the trouble of making crop circles?"
In other words, to fool gullible people. |

The giant squid must prove bigfoot true thing is pretty stupid to me. Sorry, but we can walk across land, and thus it is easy to traverse all hidden areas, and two, bigfoot does not live thousands of feet below where we have easy access.
oh... and if the bigfoot race burried their dead, we could still find them. I mean... how else do we find the graves of Egyptians, indians, and other humans?
At least nessie can hide in areas we aren't as proficient at searching such as the ocean/deep lakes. Bigfoot out in a forest would have been discovered long ago.
and yes, we DO discover new species. Note how in the past hundred years none have been discovered that reach over 5 feet. Well... maybe a few variations in semi-inhabitated areas of foreign countries, but not in North America I do believe. and like some have mentioned... when so many search for a creature... reamains are bound to show up IF it exists. |

"the reason no one has found any bigfoot dead is because the big foot spicies, nessi and a hole bunch of alines are geting ripped in an under water cave right now"
I'll buy that.
"if the bigfoot race burried their dead, we could still find them. I mean... how else do we find the graves of Egyptians, indians, and other humans?"
But aren't those marked? Maybe the bigfoots just bury them and then cover them up without making them visible... or maybe there are secret bigfoot burial grounds hidden away where no one's stumbled on them yet... or maybe they're buried outside of this dimension. |

The BigFoot carry their dead to hidden sites, and allow nature to strip the bones bare, which they then crush into a fine powder. They handle their dead with great respect, and use the powdered bones to mark their sacred and secret grounds. The BigFoot are as intelligent as Humans. They Are Humans, just as we are they, just a tad different. Some of us are closer to them than we realize, in physionomy, and attitude. They are pretty laid back, shy, but proud. They have lived here for thousands of years, but have always been subtle in their presence. They feel great emotion like Humans, but tend to respond better to elemental forces, of which they are keenly aware. They will never be our friends, but always our neighbors. You can see their signs, if you look. Npot all game trails you may see are made by deer, or rabbits and such. They may have Big Feet, but they tred lightly if possible. You'll smell a BigFoot well before you see one. They think we smell bad, too. That's probably why they avoid us. I can't say that I've actually seen a BigFoot, but I got most of my info on them from my friend, The Chupacabra. I asked him once if he thought I might actually be a latent BigFoot, instead of a full-blown Lycanthrope. He gave me the 411 on the BigFoot people, and that pretty well excluded me. In all of my Lunar-provoked madness, I've never grown real tall, and got Big Feet. I don't actually even physically transform in any way, that I know of, I just enter an accellerated state of awareness and anxiety. The Moon has many charms to stoke the savage Hair(y). Lycanthropes can party with The BigFoot people, but just not around the Full Moon. Llamas will party with you any time, Moon or not, but them BigFoot folks, they're kinda like The Amish. |
