Charybdis knows Shipley's? Either there are Shipley's outside of Louisiana, or I may just live near you.
The best donuts I ever ate were in Clarksville, TN at a little mom and pop place called Don's. Amazing donuts at amazingly low prices compared to all those big named ones. |

There is at least one Shipley's in Arlington, Texas. There might be two but I don't know if the one in Park Plaza is still open. I'm not sure if there are any others. |

Hmm.. turns out there are many Shipley's in Texas.
Also, even though it wasn't KK that did the fraud, KK itself isn't the cleanest company.
Did you know that until caught they would ship double shipments at the end of every month (knowing that the extra would be shipped back) in order to show increased numbers? |

Actually, no, I didn't know that they did THAT but I had heard that they were messing around with the books a wee bit. |

Huh...Shipley's in Texas??? That's interesting. My dad is from Texas...and his last name is Shipley...(mine never was)...I'll have to ask him if there's a relation. |
