Alex Boese, curator of the infamous web site, www.museumofhoaxes.com, and author of the same book, will be hosting his own show on the Sci Fi network airing Sunday, Aug 21, 2005.
"Hoax expert Alex Boese keeps us up with the latest on what isn't real. Don't miss the gullibility tests, the Top 100 April Fool's Day jokes, and much more".
I couldn't believe it......I emailed Alex to find out the truth of it, and guess what.........you got it!!!!
He says it isn't certain, but they are going to film the pilot episode hopefully in July......And we thought it was just a book. Although he is kinda busy, email him a "Congratulations" if you get a chance.....This is pretty exciting and stressful stuff for him right now.
Way to go Alex!!!!!!

I was beginning to suspect this since the quote comes from their list of external websites.
We must kill Stephen now. |

Think about it people.....The show could be similar to Ripley's believe it or not, except that they are proving crazy stuff to be a hoax....I'd watch a show like that. |

But this is not a hoax. I might be on the Paula Zahn show on CNN tonight. Something about the 'Runaway Bride' thing. A camera guy is coming to my house in about an hour to tape an interview with me. My immediate thought was 'Oh no, this means I have to clear all the crap off my desk.' |

I know absolutely nothing about the runaway bride. But what talking heads on tv do know anything about what they're talking about? They wanted a 'hoax expert' so they called me up. |

No money at all. I'm supposed to want to do it for the publicity. My publisher would not be pleased if I turned down opportunities to get on tv. |
