My Mum works as a PSA in a mental health hospital and so has to attend a lot of updated training courses. They cover nutrition etc there and were told about some changes to the pyramid. In Australia at least, they've ditched the pyramid and we now have a cirle, or a pie graph actually. The new one on that site looks a little dodgy to me.

Delving into the new pyramid I've actually found it more useful - using the .gov pyramid site & following the suggestions I've lost just under 5 lbs since it was released. *shrug* Dunno, I just find it easier to use.

Maybe the pyramid has something to do with the pyramid on the dollar bill, which itself is some kind of secret Masonic/Illuminati symbol. Or so I've heard. So it's a sign of a vast conspiracy to introduce mind-controlling substances into what we eat. Like that whole fluoridation thing. cool smirk

I think that the graphic, of a figure ascending a pyramid, is subtle propaganda suggesting the Western takeover of all things Middle Eastern. The figure seems in a position as if he/she is holding a rifle, although no rifle is seen. Also, if you look at the (3rd down) small graphic on the main page near the heading "Inside the Pyramid", you see what I assume is a salt shaker or pepper grinder. That object mysteriously resembles a mosque. The smoking object next to that also suggests destruction. I doubt the whole program is bent on propagandistic suggestion, but small links make a giant chain. Any thoughts?

...I'm not eating from the food pyramid anymore. I bet I'll be tracked by the food I buy & eat. Just like the tracking strips in dollar bills.
