Is that why Stephen always posts here instead of talking to himself? |

Mark:
Dude, whats up with you!!!!! I was just kidding, I know I spell bad and I assumed it was directed at me and I thought it was funny.
Your getting to be a real stiff and not very fun to talk to anymore.
It's ok to have fun at times, but the last thing you need to do is to tell ME how I am supposed to be!!!!!!!!!
Don't go there....I mess with people on here like Hairy and Rod, but we are poking fun at each other and know it. If that last comment was an intent to press my button's, you did it! If I insulted you some how, let me know before you start preaching your morals to me. If I didn't insult you, get off my back.
It's 5, time to go home....I'll see your response tommorrow. If I misread your message some how, let me know and I will appologise for this comment. |

Steve,
Your getting to be a REAL child and not much fun to deal with anymore! I can't tell you how to be? But you can me? "Don't go there...." Well, your not Alex boy and I will if I want to... to copy your attitude! I was just kiddin' around with you to and got EXACTLY the response I expected. You dish it out all the damn time but the minute someone else blows you shit your feel-goods get hurt. Let's see... what exactly did I say that was so horrible... |

And "IF" it was directed at you specifically Steve, I wouldn't be telling you anything new. In fact, it's the SAME thing I've been telling you since you got here... That you're a moderator now, you have image to portray, it's time to grow-up! So many times, when reading your posts' on here, I find myself thinking... "If I didn't know better, I'd think that was my 14-year old son making those comments."
My exact comments... so what was so insulting? Saying that sometimes you come off as immature? Newsflash, you are! Most of us guys are, nevermind the fact that it was immediately followed by the statement..."Plus ya know, most of the time I'm just rambling to hear myself ramble... it's good practice."
You don't own this site, Alex does. You've only been reading here for a few months, it's over a year for me despite when membership begins. You're a moderator simply because you talk so much that your comments level went over 200 in like 1.5 days... you're no expert hoaxologist or anything. How is my digging at you any different than anyone else's? Or different from you digging at me, which you have done. Don't tell me not to tell you how to be and then proceed to tell me how to be in the very next paragraph! So I called you immature and you find it an insult of the utmost level? Another sign of your age... boo-hoo! |

Even if I was trying to be just a flat out jerk, there really isn't anything you can do about it other than whine. I can always pull the trick you guys (You, ED, krizzle) do and post under other names, post without registering, it's endless... so don't try to make me feel threatened! I could really care less what you think... you're just another reader like everyone else.
This all started when you "knighted" yourself and (kidding sort of there also) I told you immediately that I was losing respect for you. That's where the jibe to grow-up, you're a moderator now! came from... I was kidding. But just because I pushed your button... don't expect me to be scared or to give a shit! Because I don't, you're just another young guy who thinks he owns the world, that he's better than most, and that most women want to sleep with him. If you're mad at me, I won't sleep any differently. Because in reality, you're just as insignificant as I am to the whole picture... |

Also, I don't accept any apologies that aren't spelled correctly! Not that you would anyway... |

Okay, I'm declaring a personal moratorium on Stephen Smackdowns. "I, Hairy Heinrich Houdini, do hereby solemnly swear not to rank on Stephen while he's offline. I do, however, reserve the right to break bad with him again should he ever re-insult my mother, or that un-named Indian gent." Word. |

I will go on record for stating that "I will never again try to kid around with him. He apparently has no idea when I'm just bull-shitting him."
So to avoid any hurt feel-goods in the future I will refrain from all joshing with the boy. With the possible exception of a few jibes in the DNA Perfection thread, directed at visitors and NEVER members, non of my rambling has ever been anything more than just that... rambling with the intent of pokin' someone in the ribs... |

We have a saying in The Land of My Birth: "No tire gollillas de cigarillos en el urinadero, por favor." Es muy bueno, no? Si. Rrrracccckraoul. Verdamte Llamas. Gott in Himmel. |

Now all I have to worry about is pissing him off with the mentions in the "Phony Seal Hunt" thread and the "Breast-size" thread...
For reference... I was kidding there too Stephen.
Phony Seal Hunt thread - Again, just making reference to your youthful view of the world.
Breast-size thread - NO, I don't really think you're into the young ones... I just pointed out that it was looking that way because of what you typed. |

Oh geez not again.
Stephen, Mark has an odd sense of humor, as do you. This may be why you two are always butting heads. Or are both of you play fighting and I missed the point?
Sarcasm is sometimes missed when all you can see are words typed on a screen. |

For the record Myst... I was just pokin' him a little to try and send him home on a high note. Figured my "light" joshing with him would be an upswing from all the flack he was catching in the "Physician joke" thread. As you can see though I've vowed not to let it happen again so as to avoid any further misunderstandings or hurt feelings.

As far as a I remember it, the article on Snopes pointed out that while it seems to be true that we can understand the writing with no problems, that fact has never been the result of any research; as evidenced by the lack of any details about which English university, and so on.
I personally would also question the conclusions of the argument. If the explanation given was true, and we ignored the individual letters and only read the whole word, we shouldn't notice that there is anything wrong with the spelling. It seems to me that it's more to do with the large amount of redundancy in the English language, which allows us to easily guess which word was meant when we come across something which has been misspelled. |

Well Mark, While I was gone, it seems you vented very nicely.....Personally, I wouldn't have put that much energy into that. Hope you feel better. |

Well Steve,
It made me feel better at the time... you know how boring work can get I'm sure! As for how I feel about being such a hot-head the next day... well that's a different story. I'm sure we're all guilty of doing things, or reacting in ways, that we regret later huh? Maybe? Don't know... but what other choice did I have yesterday? To direct that energy towards my job??? How ridiculous would that be?!? |
