Had a nice evening with some friends. And a rather important talk at one of the Dutch Universities about possibilities for me to enter in a job there.

Happy belated birthday, LaMa. Oh, to be 35 again. When I was that age anything seemed possible. Now that I'm 36 I realize my best days are behind me.

Happy birthday to all those to whom it applies, and happy un-birthday to all others. And for those of you who simply don't want to be happy at all regardless of what day it is, then tough luck. Now that I've completed my benediction for the day, I think I'll go outside and chase the squirrels. Wish me luck.
