There is NOTHING better than Avril...

Jen has already given up that fight.
For instance, one entire wall of her living room is nothing but autographed memorabilia... and we're going on vacation for a week in July so I can follow the tour around.
7/17 - Detroit
7/18 - Indianapolis
7/19 - Nashville
7/21 - St. Louis
I know... I'm 34 so grow up already... but can't help it. Plus she's a dead ringer for Jen. (which is probably the only reason I get away with it!) |

Mark, you're a very sad bloke. I'm amazed at Jen for putting up with you! But then there's no accounting for some people's tastes (eg, mine are a bit odd, which is probably why I'm not attached).
(Heck, who am I kidding. I am odd.) |

Not quite sure how to take that since I had just told ya that she was a dead ringer for Jen...
Heck they're even both kinda mouthy in the same way...
So I guess you're telling me you don't care too much for Jen???
J/K
If I ever get a scanner I'll try to scan in for my avatar the pic of them together and show ya... |

Sorry Mark. I was saying I was amazed at Jen's taste in you!
And I very much doubt that Avril is aware of your existence.
Sorry...
Y'know, you should've organised your 'tour' a little earlier, cos she's (Avril) just been 'round the East Coast down here...(nobody ever wants to come to the west coast) |

Oh that's quite alright as I'm sure you're right about her not being aware of my existence. However, you can join the fan club www.avrillavigne.com which will get you access to many cool things as long as you're willing to fork out the $$$. (As usual) Like purchasing tix before they go on sale to the public, or even "special" packages called "Silver" and "Gold" Hot Seats.
During her stop in Cincinnati, OH on 11/6/04 I purchased, through the fan club, what's called "Gold Hot Seats" ($250 apiece) which basically got us Concert tix, shirts and autographed programs, AND backstage for a meet-and-greet before the show. There were maybe 15 or 20 of us (fanclub members) back there so we all got about 2 minutes of her time, during which we snapped the pics to which I was referring.
I'm currently trying to talk Jen into letting me sell our tix for Detroit and buy "Gold" seats because there are some available for that show. She's got this damn preoccupation with groceries though... |

LOL, I have a suspicion Jen may just be the sensible one. |

Also, I know she just played or is getting ready to play in Australia because I've seen LOTS of the tix for sale on E-bay. |

Right on the nose with that guess Winona...
Unfortunately she's also the one with the checkbook... |

*just sits here shaking her head*
Mind you, I shouldn't judge. I did go to the same show twice just so I could keep up with my sister (and we didn't even have to travel interstate)...If you're a fan of Queen, and if you ever get the musical We Will Rock You - go see it!
*still sitting here, shaking her head, not only at Mark, but at herself too...*

That's how it works here, too... I tend to watch the bank balances pretty closely, for my own comfort, so I do catch the things Erik forgets or "forgets" to write in. |

Nope, sorry. Can't convert me to Avril. It's getting to the point where I can't recognise her songs because she sounds like other singers who sound like they're trying to imitate her! Plus I heard an interview with her on the radio the other day, and I was not impressed. |

Not to be pickin' at your nerves Smerk (basically just wasting time at work) but...
as you put it..."other singers who sound like they're trying to imitate her!" then how could she sound like them? She's the original that they're trying to imitate so actually she sounds like her and they're all the copy-cats...
Now before you move to strangle me...(looking around WHILE ducking)
I get it... you're just plain sick of the whole sound no matter who it's coming from! But imitation is a great form of flattery!
I'll shut up now about the punk... |

Good, you get my point. I think I got a little confused with everyone imitating everyone else...
Imitation may be a form of flattery, but it won't help you to stand out in the crowd! Vote to be a duck, not a sheep!
Me? Strangle you? Never! I prefer the more bloodthirsty way of running people through with a sword...
Ok. I'll shutup now too - at least for an hour...mmmm...lunch time! |

With someone wanting to run you through with a sword do you really want to stand out in a crowd???

Hmm, I'm guessing "Avril" is some sort of singer, though it sounds more like a decongestant. |
