I saw something this weekend, maybe last weekend, about a kid's book or movie. I can't remember what it's about or who wrote it, but the main character gets help from their friend the Jackelope! Something about it made me think that it was a new story. (Like a "New This Week" sort of thing...)
Anyone got an leads on it?? Anyone heard of it? Am I totally nuts, or just partly nuts?
I heard that on The Incredibles dvd there's a short cartoon featuring a jackalope. Maybe that's what you're thinking of.

I like Jackolopes, they're cute
We often spend our time watching as the little
creatures frolick in our back garden in their hunt for small tidbits.
I'd like one as a pet, but none of the pet shops around here seem to have them and all the ones in the back garden are wild and probably wouldn't be easy to domesticate, assuming I wouldn't be breaking some local law by even trying.
Oh well, its a small dream. Eventually we intend to move to larger premises where we may never see another jackolope, but we're going to need the extra room if our dream of breeding unicorns is ever to come to fruition.

Ahh...I was at Wal-Mart last weekend. I probably picked it up. Will have to check it out sometime.
