Kelly, has it ever occurred to you that a person who, by their own admission, cannot read or write just might not be in a position to evaluate a phony "psychic" like Sylvia Browne?
If you persist in putting your admitted illiteracy on display in a public forum, I don't think you have much justification for complaint when people comment on it.
As for your posting on ratbags.com, that is a site I visit occasionally and I just happened to stumble across your "contribution" there. Again, you're putting your comments on display so you have no reason to assume that someone won't comment on what you say and how you say it. Nothing said on a public message board is private. |

My observations about illiteracy were not meant for those who have English as a second language or have physical limitations with learning. Those things are usually apparent and tolerated on most forums. In most cases the person will mention it and the participants (including me) have no problem with it.
The way I see it, our arguments against the paranormal are based on common sense and scientific reasoning. If there is a flaw in our reasoning, I like to hear it. Just being told we are cynical non-believers about everything is not much of a counter-argument. It is even less convincing when it comes from someone who can't form a simple sentence. Tell us where our logic is wrong. If for some reason you are not able to, maybe you shouldn't be arguing so strongly about it.
Having blind loyalty to someone like Sylvia Browe is dangerous thing as some of her customers have found out. She makes a lot of money from those who do not question her claimed abilities. If she is a phoney, don't you think she should be exposed? If she is for real, then she won't mind being questioned. But past experience has shown she goes to great lengths to avoid proving herself. Instead she makes personal attacks to shift the attention to someone else.
I'm sorry you are having a bad time this month. Hope you feel better soon. |

ALL I did.....was Reply, on HOW my session turned out with Ms. Browne. I have told all of u that I wrote "Date Line" to do a story on her, and other's like her. BECAUSE she CHARGES just too much Money to have an hour with her. Someone DID NOT READ my last lengthy letter on this board. And I have NEVER BEEN TOO "RATBAGS.COM" Someone Put my letter out for all to see, and comment on my lousy Grammer.
I DO BELIEVE IN THE AFTER LIFE, I DO BELIEVE THERE ARE SOME FOLKS OUT THERE WHO CAN DO THIS GIFT. I DO BELIEVE.....BUT I DON'T BELIEVE SOMEONE SHOULD BE GIVING OUT MEDICAL ADVICE, AND I DON'T BELIEVE SOMEONE WITH THIS WONDERFUL GIFT SHOULD BE CHARGING FOLKS UP THE YING-YANG FOR IT!

When I last saw her, on the "MONTEL SHOW", She predicted that we would have a lot more of REALLY BAD Hurricans, But.......I believe she said mostly in the state of Fla.......? She did say they'd be Devastation. She was correct on that.
Still it pisses me off that she more or less LIVES off of Us; People, she charges WAY TO MUCH darn money! And gives out MEDICAL ADVICE as if she had an MD license!

i read one of Sylvia Brownes book and it was really convensing it even made me question my own religion but i soon found out from my older sister that if we "designed" our life in Nervana than the hell do we "design" a really crapy life i mean come on people use your head how hard is it to make prdictions on the next 100 years NO ONE WILL BE ALIVE TO VERIFY IT!!!!! if you believe this crap than i feel sorry for you poor suckers cause i have some bad news for you YOU HAVE BEEN S-C-A-M-E-D SCAMED!!!  |

I have a mother-in-law who is all caught up in this Sylvia CRAP. She USED to be this sweet lady who could quote from the bible and make anyone feel warm inside. UNTIL Sylvia, now HELL is what we are living, and we are here to prove ourselves worthy to get of HELL. Okay CrankMediaGuy, I agree with you, this old crook has twisted so many people. I am sorry but the last time I looked, God created earth and God created Man...where does it say GOD created HELL for us to live in everyday and try to prove ourselves worthy to be reincarnated!?-Okay what did Jesus die for?! The Earlier letters I wrote, were VENTED because SOmeone said I would DRIVE MY MOTHER TO HER GRAVE, now this person didn't know me from adam! And all I did was RESPOND to all the HOO-HAW of Ms Browne! Now if someone said something like that to you, you'd prob. get upset, or just wouldn't give a damn. I also Vented because all Hell has broken loose in my family. So Sorry to have PISSED ANYONE OFF. That's what's WRONG with this Country today, among many other things, NOBODY GIVES A CRAP ABOUT ANYONE! They just tell U TO GET HELP!! And I admit I'm a DRAMA QUEEN, At times. OK i am happy for you but let me ask you something if you read your bible than why do you belieave that you have past lives? in the bible it says "we live ONE life and die ONE death" please explain that to me PLEASE because if you think that for 1 second you could change my mind by all means go right a head this should be very interesting. i think you and all those other people who say the have talked to there "spirit guild" should stop smoking what your smoking and join the rest of us in reality, alright!!!!!!!!? |

Thea, why R U on here if U think all this is stupid made up stuff? U MUST believe in something MORE, to have written in. GOD, Jesus, Hail Mary are ALL CHANGABLE BEINGS, it says that somewhere in the Bible too. If U screwed up this life why NOT come back and correct it, until one gets it right, that is. If you were an HORRIFIC Being, then I believe GOD puts U somewhere to have whatevery U did that was SO HORRIFIC in a place that has others like this so called human being do UNTO HIM AS HE OR SHE DID UNTO OTHERS.
There R 7 I believe Levels of Heaven, 7 Being the Highest. One must LEARN on EARTH, like a SCHOOL, to get too LEVEL 7 or to move on up the LADDER so to speak. I DON'T BELIEVE GOD, CHRIST, OR HAIL MARY LETS BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO US, WE AS HUMAN BEINGS, DO ALL THAT ALL BY OUR SELVES, I call them GROWING SPURTS. Horrific Nature Stuff like the Hurrican Katrina, isn't by GOD'S, JEUSUS' or THE VIRGIN MARY'S HANDS.
