# 16 on her predictions page:
No longer a single Pope, but a triumvirate of Popes, each assigned to a geographic collection of Catholics.
...
I don't think her "news" section is supposed to be current events, but news about HER doings.
Also no mention of her agreement to take the James Randi paranormal challenge which she made on the Larry King show. Why pass up an easy million bucks?
I did find this and thought it was quite funny:
"For example, never ever send any funds to The Tide Group in Palm Beach Florida. They are a total fraud group pretending to be Sylvia and Chris."

Thanks Stephen
I've always found it fascinating how these people consistantly miss major events ie. the pope, devasting earthquakes etc. yet still manage to rake in the bucks.
Oh well, she did predict Robert Blakes aquittal!!!
Holy Shit Eh?!!!

It isn't rocket surgery to predict a celebrity will be acquitted in southern California. Has any real celebrity ever been convicted in a California court/

As you probably know, Al, Randi has a "Sylvia" clock on his site (randi.org), counting the days since she said she WOULD take the challenge.
Anyone who believes that this old biddie has supernatural "powers" needs to check into Hotel Reality for some R & R. Ain't no such thing as the "supernatural," folks.
Not only is she full of shit, but she also comes dangerously close to practicing medicine without a license, telling people what drugs they should and shouldn't take. Randi is in possession of at least two tapes of her "phone readings" during which she says almost the exact same things, word for word, to two different suckers, over a year apart. Not only is she a fraud, she's a LAZY fraud.
I'm hoping that Randi can come up with a few more tapes where she says the same things so he can turn her into the authorities, for non-licensed medical practice. She'd have a hard time defending against that, I think. Gee, do you think she'll predict her prosecution?

She's got lots of nervous twitches & things. She's on Montell all the freakin' time. She's always playing with her fingernails, or her hair, touching her mouth...
And with those fingernails, it's obvious she's sold her soul to the Devil.
CMG, the Sylvia clock seems to be gone from the Randi site. Could be because the Randi server is only a 32 bit machine and cannot handle a number as large as the number of days they have been waiting for her to be tested.
I'd like to see a transcript of those tapes. Are they online? Somehow I think that even if she was convicted, there would still be a lot of people who would use her services. Some people never learn.

Al, you're right about the Sylvia clock. It was well over a thousand days before Randi took it down. I think he made his point.
As far as I know, the tapes are NOT online. Randi asked if anyone had tapes of a Sylvia phone reading but wouldn't say what he wanted them for.
A while later, he said that he was in possession of two of them and posted excerpts from both of them. The excerpts are VERY similar; she gives the same "medical" advice to both callers.
Randi asked if anyone had any more Sylvia phone tapes. That's the last he's said about it on his website. I'm assuming that he's collecting them to make a case for her illegally practicing medicine, but don't quote me. I'm just guessing based on things he's said about her in the past.
Like I said, not only is she a phony, she's a LAZY phony.

I've seen her on Montell a few times...and she just seems ODD. The person asks a question, Sylvia then goes into, Oh, tell your ghost to go away, he's dead, blah blah blah...It's stupid. The people are stupid, Sylvia is stupid. STUPID. BLECH.
And the medicine stuff? I can't BELIEVE that is allowed to be on T.V. Oh, you have cancer? Stop the drugs you're own, they're making it worse. Take some "pirin tablets". (If anyone has seen The Bird Cage, you know what I'm talking about.)
Her evil fingernails probably give her nutty visions.

You have the right reaction to Sylvia. Montell is either stupid enough to believe in that shit or knows that it gets an audience and simply doesn't care that it's a load of crap. I'm betting on the latter.

You're right again that she shouldn't be practicing medicine without a license, especially on TV where a gullible viewer with similar symptoms might stop taking life-saving medicine. It's disgustingly immoral for that old biddy to do that to make a living. I sincerely hope that James Randi finds a way to get her prosecuted.
Thanks for the update on the Sylvia Clock.
Just for fun, I went to the site where the James Randi Educational Foundation keeps their financial statement, to see for myself if they do have $1 million that can't be used for any other purpose. And what do you know, there it was. Wasn't too hard to do.
I would like just one of those TV show hosts to ask Sylvia, "Why don't you just take the test even if he doesn't have the million? That would prove your ability to everyone, once and for all."
But of course they won't do it.
