For the past week, I have developed a little Nyquil habit. Lately, I have been having some AWESOME dreams!!!! The Weird thing is that they have been Night Mares, but I have somewhat become de-sensitised, and they are actually enjoyable. I have also noticed an improvement in my Lucid dreaming. With all this combined together, I know that I am in a nightmare, but instead of changing it into a nice dream like an orgy with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, I choose to stay in the nightmare, and for some odd reason, I am enjoying myself, even when I wake up in the midddle of the night, I try to go back to sleep, I want to return to that same nightmare.
Has anyone had this little problem???

Hmmm, depending on how much you take, maybe you should read this...

Read and follow label directions... Do not exceed recommended dosage... If condition persists, consult your Doctor... |

I didn't, I only take this stuff to go to sleep. I was taking the NQ because of bad sinus problems and allergies. I took the tylenol PM cause I recieved a pinched nerve in my neck yesterday. I'm not abusing the stuff. I did like the NQ a little too much, so I quit taking it a couple of days ago so I wouldn't get an addiction. |

For years, I thought the "PM" suffix on OTC meds meant "Pre Menstrual"... who knew? |

I once spent hours going from store to store, trying to find the "OTC" brand cough syrup my doc recommended... Vicks,Robitussin, lots of brands, but no OTC... drove me nuts |

There is definately Nyquil in Canada... because... I live in Toronto and am looking at a bottle right now.
"...lots of chemicals can change the dream/wake state of a person. That's why some people can stay awake w/ a caffeinated beverage (like coffee) & other's can't." - So.. that why Red Bull knocks me out cold? Or... am I dying. |

Actually, I've had hallucinations just from taking half of a regular dose of nyquil. I'm actually allergic to alcohol (yes it's possible and yes it does suck terribly) and the high amount of alcohol combined with other drugs in nyquil has horrible effects on me. It's the only time in my life I have ever had a true nightmare and a hullucination, and it was the last time I will ever go near nyquil. |

Could you drink alcohol if you had an antihistamine first? |

Nyquil has an antihistamine. So, apparently...No. |
