I think this trumps all for the stupidest auction on eBay.

Don't they have to pay listing fees or something?

Bah, deleted already...it was a couple of bags with water in them and dead fish, and there was a notation: DEAD FISH DON'T BID WELL BE MY GUEST IF YOU WANT TO BUT DON'T or something. Sigh...

Okay, that link is messed up, here's the real one (I hope):

ACK! Just search for "dead bettas" on eBay if you want to see.

I think I fixed the original link. The problem was that it was so long that it was looping over a line and getting messed up. Should work now. Unless eBay really does pull it. But I don't see why they would. I don't think it violates their rules in any way.

I don't get it. Why would anyone bother to list something and then tell people NOT to bid?

There's always something more stupid than the last on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1447&item=6153403373&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

It's still up there, though I had to type in the item number to find it. If the link above doesn't work,

try this one
