Has anyone every heard of this Swedish woman, Lisa Johansen, who claimed to be the real Lisa Marie Presley? It's a pretty wacky story. She used to have her own website, which apparently has since been pulled. She wrote a book called I, Lisa Marie, for which she was paid a $200,000 advance and was supposed to undergo DNA testing. She refused the DNA tests, DUH, which would have proved her case and sold millions of copies of her book. Gee, I wonder why she wouldn't get tested? Especially since she was offering half of Elvis's estate (including Graceland) to anyone who could help prove that she was indeed the King's daughter. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
Anyway, she's been sued by the real Lisa Marie. I guess that's why her website is down.
Johansen's story sounds plausible enough: After Elvis died in 1977, Priscilla Presley acted on her fears that someone might try to kidnap the King's lone benefactor. So, she took Lisa Marie, then nine, to Sweden, where she was brought up. According to the book, Johansen was then replaced by the woman we now know as Lisa Marie.
"Trusted family members and friends convince [Johansen] it is for her own safety," according to Johansen's Website, "that she must assume a new identity until she comes of an age to take her rightful place as the sole heir of a huge estate."
I particularly like the "forensic" evidence that was offered by her:
The biggest piece of "forensic" evidence purportedly comes from a skull and face analysis of Lisa Marie Presley and of Elvis and Priscilla's daughter, as seen in photos at age nine. Johansen claims Lisa Marie's forehead as an adult is 13 percent smaller than that of the child in the photos.
"Since the skull doesn't shrink as you grow older--the reports indicate a switch," her Website deduces. "The little Lisa Marie, who spent her childhood years in Graceland, had disappeared!"
I was on her site and I saw the pictures of her and read her story. She does look a bit like the real Lisa Marie, I'll give her that. But, being that Lisa Marie is the absolute spitting image of her dad, it's a ridiculous claim that she's an imposter! It's pretty amusing though. I wish her site was still available just so you guys could read the rantings of a truly delusional individual.

That woman must be sick.She recently appeared in a TV-show claiming her daughter is going to be a star,and even has her own website with audio-clips with the girl singing and stuff,it doesn´t even sound good.I mean,hello,what are these people?Aliens?

I feel sorry for the kids,I don´t know if the girl´s so called high IQ is a hoax or not,but I wouldn´t be surprised if it was...
The family was parcipitants in a program in Sweden "outsiders" on kanal5 on 3.4.2006, they want their middle child Emma to be a popsinger, the father and Emma uses to be in US a lot. They got 3 children in the program. I got suspiscous when I recongnised the family, they have also been in a program called "swedish wonderkids" because of Emma, she is the youngest member in Mensa, Sweden and was studying in the university when she was 9 years old...Is´nt it strange that a couple like them got a kid like Emma?

I believe the Mensa story is just another hoax.
But what I find most upsetting is how a Swedish TV-station can feature yet another story about this family without checking up on their background.
It's really irresponsible to expose the young child like this and allow the parents to tell strange and made up stories about the daughter on prime time television!

Right after this serie ''outsiders'' that went on air this monday here in Sweden, about how Emma was going to become a star, that's when I got a bit suspicious, since I recogniced the family from a another serie ''wonderkids'' where they were bragging about Emma's intelligent and how she wanted to start university.
Now that i found this page I was really chocked, I had no idea about this woman ''Lisa'',
and I feel so bad for the three kids they have. I read somewhere how the parents are telling the children that Elvis is their grandfather. It's really sad!

It's obvious that this broad is no way shape or form connected to Elvis. Yes, Elvis did sleep around and I would think it was possible if she claimed to be his daughter, but not Lisa Marie Herself! As far as I am concerned, she looks nothing like him. I'd go into how much Lisa and her son Ben resemble Elvis, but I'm sure most of you figured out this whole thing by now. This broad obviously has a psychological issue. I wonder if she's ever been 'checked out.'

I dont understand how people still today believes that sari johansen is the real lisa presley. They've shown pictures on Sari when she's together with her biological mother. Sari looks like her biological mother, and sari is not even WHITE! Saris mother's asian and her father, I'm not sure, I think he's Finnish.

But i think it's possibly though that Saris daughter Emma is over intelligent, since she's only 11 yrs old and in college now, but it has nothing to do with the fact that Sari's the real daughter of Presley.
That woman is CRAZY, she's crazy but smart in a way, she knows how to get away with things, and I believe that she desperately is seeking for attention.

why do you all get so upset about this? if it is so stupid, why do you even bother? let it go and let this Sari claim whatever she wants.
and this emma/mensa thing. it's easy to act stupid, but it's harder to act smart. there are some things you just can't lie about. she's 11 years old so i think someone would notice if her intelligence was real or fake.
but just one question.
did she actually write in this book that she had a relationship with her karate-teacher and had a child with him? or is that just something that some website wrote?

ANYONE - I JUST FINISHED READING THE BOOK SHE WROTE, SHE TOLD ABOUT HAVING HER FIRST CHILD, HOWEVER SHE DID NOT MENTION THE FATHERS NAME, I ASSUMED THE FATHER WAS ALEX. HOWEVER I READ ANOTHER SITE THAT SAID THE FATHER WAS THE KARATE TEACHER.

We have not looked into whether or not Emma is actually a member of Mensa, but on the surface it looks to be true from what has been reported to us by our contacts in Sweden. Emma is not to be blamed for the sins of her parents, but she will probably suffer some public backlash about Sari's claims of being LMP in the future if she really does become a pop singer. She is a beautiful young lady, and in my opinion from listening to her on her website, she is really quite a good singer. I wish her huge success, and I pray she will not be blamed for what her parents have done.
As to the question about Sari's oldest daughter, Julia, her father is Aki, who was Sari's first husband. Aki is Japanese, and so they used Julia's dark features to say that she looked like Elvis, which was ridiculous. Aki was never mentioned by name in the book, but he was Sari's karate instructor from the time she was fairly young, and also was heavily involved behind the scenes in Sari's con as LMP. We know this directly from Sari's mouth to our ears.
As to the children speaking English, it is taught in Swedish schools from an early age. I have a Swedish friend who was born and raised there, and she speaks English as well as I do.
As to Elvis and Priscilla going to Sari's house, all I can say to that is.... ridiculous beyond belief. Sari stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from people in the U.S. when she was in the middle of her con here. Elvis was well known for giving money, cars, everything, to complete strangers. Priscilla is extremely wealthy. You actually think they would have left Sari, if she had been theirs (and she's NOT), without any money to live on?

ATT: KD --- From the way you write, you must "personally KNOW Sari and family, also, sounds like you "may" even know the Presley family. I agree with you, IF Sari WAS their daughter, they most certainly would have made sure she was financially well off - but more than that - I cannot picture Priscilla leaving her daughter in Europe for YEARS with no contact. --- I read somewhere on the net - that there is "supposedly" a (smaller Graceland) in another location. That would be interesting to follow up on - as to fact/ or / fiction, and if it was, why was it built?

Actually there's more than one replica of Graceland. Offhand, I remember one being in Orlando, Florida, and another in California, I think in L.A., and it wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out there are many, many more worldwide. But I don't find anything odd about that. His fan base is stronger today than it was when he was alive. One lady who lives in a house behind Graceland is one of those ardent fans whose entire house (including the toilet paper!) is Elvis imprinted.

Very interesting!
I also saw the program "outsiders" on swedish TV the other day and was astonished to se Emma "the Wonderchild" now becoming a popstar. The family must be very rich as they have hired one of the most famous (at least they said so)songcoaches in USA to help her develope her voice. She went there with her father in a white limo preparing for her coming life as a famous popstar.
Her father thought she could be a new Celine Dion!? It was really creepy to se that little girl already thinking she was a big star. What will become of her? I had no idea when I saw this program that her mother had claimed to be Elvis daughter.
I have visited her website and listen to the songs and I must say I don´t believe for a minute that she has the capacity to become a popstar. In my opinion she is only screeming and doesn`nt pitch the tunes. Feel so sorry for her!

Everyone is mentioning that this insane woman (Sari or whatever her name is) does look a little bit like Lisa and maybe a little of Elvis or Priscilla, but I don't know I haven't seen the resemblence!! Has any one ever looked at the baby pictures where Elvis is holding Lisa Marie at about 1 year old, he's sitting on a couch trying to keep her from falling, well how about the family photos of Lisa, Priscilla and Elvis where Lisa is in a polka dotted mushroom dress, no? well how about the Priscilla and Lisa pictures where Lisa is about 7 and they are dressed alike, I could go on and on about her younger publicized pic's, but I won't except to mention, in all these pictures there is an exact same thing that to me IS Lisa Marie Presley, you can still see it in pictures of her today, something she was born with and will carry with her through her life!! Its her cowlick!! Right there at her forehead and it makes a small semi circle, apparently one reason she wears her hair to the side a lot. You can't control a cowlick people, either it's there or its not there. I didn't see one on Sorry (oh it's Sari, my mistake). Maybe someone should point that out to those poor little kids who are growing up thinking they are Elvis's grandbabies, how horrible to do that to your child, or maybe Sari herself would like to comment on this, pull your hair back Sari, let us see your cowlick!! How about her neighbors, do you care to defend your neighbor. Elvis fans, Lisa Marie fans, Priscilla fans, what in the world took you so long to think of this aspect!!!

Emma may look like her mother but Riley Keough looks like Lisa Marie Presley, has anyone seen the pictures where Lisa Marie and Nick Cage are on the boat (yacht, I guess you would call it), there is a picture of Riley on the upper deck, and I guess Riley is about 8 or 10 at that time, and on first glance I thought Lisa, but then realized Lisa isn't 9 years old any more. Wonder how they explain that Lisa Marie Presley's daughter looks just like 8 or 9 year old Lisa Marie Presley back in the '70's, also noticed no one has commented on the cowlick, are you scared or just Sari?
