I, LisaMarie- a wacky hoax

Has anyone every heard of this Swedish woman, Lisa Johansen, who claimed to be the real Lisa Marie Presley? It's a pretty wacky story. She used to have her own website, which apparently has since been pulled. She wrote a book called I, Lisa Marie, for which she was paid a $200,000 advance and was supposed to undergo DNA testing. She refused the DNA tests, DUH, which would have proved her case and sold millions of copies of her book. Gee, I wonder why she wouldn't get tested? Especially since she was offering half of Elvis's estate (including Graceland) to anyone who could help prove that she was indeed the King's daughter. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
Anyway, she's been sued by the real Lisa Marie. I guess that's why her website is down.

Johansen's story sounds plausible enough: After Elvis died in 1977, Priscilla Presley acted on her fears that someone might try to kidnap the King's lone benefactor. So, she took Lisa Marie, then nine, to Sweden, where she was brought up. According to the book, Johansen was then replaced by the woman we now know as Lisa Marie.
"Trusted family members and friends convince [Johansen] it is for her own safety," according to Johansen's Website, "that she must assume a new identity until she comes of an age to take her rightful place as the sole heir of a huge estate."
I particularly like the "forensic" evidence that was offered by her:
The biggest piece of "forensic" evidence purportedly comes from a skull and face analysis of Lisa Marie Presley and of Elvis and Priscilla's daughter, as seen in photos at age nine. Johansen claims Lisa Marie's forehead as an adult is 13 percent smaller than that of the child in the photos.
"Since the skull doesn't shrink as you grow older--the reports indicate a switch," her Website deduces. "The little Lisa Marie, who spent her childhood years in Graceland, had disappeared!"
I was on her site and I saw the pictures of her and read her story. She does look a bit like the real Lisa Marie, I'll give her that. But, being that Lisa Marie is the absolute spitting image of her dad, it's a ridiculous claim that she's an imposter! It's pretty amusing though. I wish her site was still available just so you guys could read the rantings of a truly delusional individual.

Lisa Marie ``gorgeous``? hardly. She`s ``cute`` sometimes, at best. Pretty masculine. She looked unattracive and old and haggard on the Oprah show. Her mother PRISCILLA Presley is the one whos gorgeous. Unusually beautiful. Lisa sure ain`t no raving beauty like priscilla! This Lisa Johansen story is a fake, but the girl could definitely be Elvis`s child. Why not? He most probably has other children out there besides Lisa Marie. And theres a few photos of her in that book that show that she is prettier than Lisa Marie Presley. |

I agree with that. Lisa Marie Presley is no where even near as attractive as her mom Priscila. and Elvis probably does have other kids besides Lisa. This story about the real Lisa from Sweden is such a farce, but she could be one of E`s kids out there. She`s way prettier than Lisa marie presley ever was. and she`s feminine. Lisa MArie is kind of a dike. |

So, I guess this could be Bubba Ho-Tep and 3000 Miles To Graceland all in one. I guess I've seen too many movies to believe that the truly bizarre happens in real life. |

Oh but wait, you're changing the story --- Sari Nikula Johansen (name changed to Lisa in the 90's), does NOT claim to be A child of Elvis Presley. She claims to be THE child of Elvis and Priscilla, the one and only Lisa Marie Presley.
And of course she's not. |

This is ridcoulous that this woman can get away with this? This lady is defintley got issues!
I disagree about you saying Lisa Marie (the real one not Johansen) isn't pretty, I think she is very pretty. In my opinion anyway, and she's also not a lesbian! She has two kids ( I think!). |

I saw that story a couple years ago then an updated one when LMP came out with her new album,
I truely did not think that other wanna be looked like a presley. She saw millions and wanted it, and since she refused a DNA test, it just proves even more she is a nut case and needs to be locked up. |

Sari Nikula and Tore Omark live with their two children in Sigtuna in Sweden. They run a karate club. They are not on the run. They have a large house and have appeared in the press with their ''super-intelligent daughter''. |

oh, I see that now. I had missed that entry. Well, as far as I personally know, the only running they have ever done is back to Sweden to escape trouble they caused in the United States.
But that's a very interesting post by "Memphis" and if he/she still reads here, I'd love to hear details about scams they have pulled in Australia and Europe, in order for that information to be added to the website exposing her as a fraud.

This lady needs help. Coo-coo Coo-coo. She looks to me as if she may have a tinge of freaking down syndrome or something, theres no way in the world. Every woman Elvis slept with wasnt a Pricilla or a Memphis beauty queen but I just know anything that looks like that couldnt have came from the most gorgeous man that ever lived. So I give her an 'A' for effort and congrads on her 200,000 dollars but any one who has any sense or knows even a little about the King knows better. Pricilla and Lisa arent even going to dignify her claim with any kind of protest or even a response at all. What does that tell you? Yopu can look at the real Lisa and tell who her parents are, the resemblence to her father is eerie. |

She doesn't have Down Syndrome, she's simply a con artist, scammer, however you want to term it. And she had several other people in on the scam with her. There were many losers in her con game, which I'm sure gave her great satisfaction and validation as to how great a scammer she was. There was much more than just the $200,000 book advance involved. For several years neither she nor her boyfriend turned husband worked. She lived off of the goodness of people who believed her and took her entire family into their homes, free .... free food, free shelter, free babysitting, free plane tickets, large "loans" they didn't pay back, the best bedrooms in the houses they stayed in, and use of the best cars because after all she claimed to have been a spoiled princess used to the very best. She demanded and demanded and demanded. The story that went on behind the scenes was quite astonishing. Someone should write a book about it, and whatever money is made should be given to those who spent so generously on her, but interest in her is completely gone now, except for a handful of people who still wonder, and I doubt anyone would read it. |

The entire upstairs of Graceland is and has been available to the public for viewing since at least 1979. If you know where to look. Start looking for EP websites. I have a picture of every room and EP's room can be seen momentarily in the movie This Is Elvis. Joe goes upstairs behind Johnny Harrah, who played EP in the opening scene. Joe finds EP dead on the floor and the camera angle changes to the gates. Take a close look at the movie, back it up a few times. If you have an original move on vhs, Vernon is thanked in the credits for letting the crew shoot EP's bedroom and other upstairs areas as well as all other filming at Graceland. The crew even made a few pics of their own. You can sometimes find a site that shows them. Linda Thompson published photos of herself in Lisa's room as well as Elvis' bedroom. She is sitting on the bed. Many ways for this girl to find history of the most known man of our time. However I am a bit perplexed at how she knew other things. Strange but nuts! Who knows? I love EP but the whole family was really, really out there and still is. Like I said, at least Lisa Jo didn't marry Wacko Jacko!! Can't argue that. EP rocks! |

Sari Nickula (aka Lisa Johansen) has actually been in Elvis' room at Graceland. That is one tiny part of the book that is true.
Anything that you are perplexed about how she knew, please ask and I'll explain. We spent a very long time investigating her in order to expose her as a fraud on the website, and have first hand information from the people she used while running her scam. |

First and foremost these people seem daft.Do you for a single moment believe in this crap?I dont!I once wrote and told her these are the days of DNA babe and she never replied to me.What a load of crap and imagine people swallowing this rot.How far gone are we huh?

Come On gave us fans a break. This woman doesn't look anything like Elvis she doesn't look anything like Lisa Marie. I met Lisa Marie and she is the splitting image of her Father. She is without a doutb her Daddy's little girl. This all can be over a done with with a DNA test. She won't take it cause then everyone would know what a lier she is. I put this up there with all the stories of Elvis is still alive! |

Belive me or not but she lives actually the house next to me.
Shes always outside late on the evening never on the daytime and her dougther is also intresting.She has like a overloaded IQ.
