I love British people and even though they are responsible for most Mercritis outbreaks they are also charming, well mannered and well, we just like 'em. |

I just like:
"Mercritis a term that literally means Sea Refuge was originally coined in 1412 AD in a paper by botanist/surgeon Tornajo Mejia"
Which is bizarre because all the rest of the site (or the bits I could be bothered reading) seems to be properly punctuated.
I'm also quite fond of the poor photoshopping.
Anyway, I say hoax. And not a particularly interesting one, at that. |

What's with people slapping a hate on a hoax? I mean how would it feel to be a Hoax, walking down the street, just trying to make something of yourself and right when you make the move to stand out and be a successful hoax someone's got slap a hate on you, like "oh, you ain't a fun hoax" or "you're not an entertaining hoax." Imagine how torn down that poor hoax has to feel. Mercritis, we apologize, now, you go spread your wings and fly,

Oh my, I dearly hope that I have not ever offended any hoaxes out there with my bigoted antihoaxism. If I have then I sincerely appologize. I never realized how racist I was until Creighton opened my eyes. I feel that to atone I must adopt an orphaned hoax and raise him according to his own belief system without disparagement. Now I have to find a suitable hoax. Any suggestions? |

Oh Creighton, "sniff, sniff" my eyes too have been opened to see my bigotry of this poor little hoax. I feel aweful for the hate I feel towards it. It's not it's fault that it's incredibly inane and boring, that it's hard to even look at the site for more than 2 seconds before clicking off. Oh, Mercritis! I'm so sorry for hating you!

I thought the part on Managing Mercritis Pain was excellent along with the Mercritis Poetry from the Mercritis boards, so Creighton, maybe you're right, maybe Mercritis shouldn't hide its light under a bush. Please tell Mercritis we're sorry.

Mercritis is the puppy of all hoaxes and I know you wouldn't ridicule or kick a puppy, would you? |

Good God, Nick! Get ahold of yourself! If you keep this up, why, you'll be kicked out of Englishland for sure! It'll be awful! You'll be American, and forced to eat French fries, English muffins, and apple pie with the kind of reckless abandon that only Americans have! *And* you'll over-punctuate! Run, Nick, run! Get help! Eat scones and sing "God Save the Queen" while wearing a kilt and drinking a hot toddy!
You'll feel better after the hangover wears off, I promise. |

I think you're confusing "good" and "well"- you wrote it correctly the first time. If you had typed that the food tastes well, you'd be implying the food has taste buds. |

So, we are all in accord and are experiencing great harmony; Mercritis is real and all is good. |

I think the website is at least a hoax, if the phenomena isn't, just because if you look under the link called Assistive Products, and then click on the deoderant, there's a rediculous testimonial. That's my two cents. |

I know what you mean, but I dug deep into the Mercritis forums, and discoved that "Mercritis Sufferers" rail against those ads in post after post. Apparantly they felt victimized by Mercaway because it just doesn't work and led to some of them getting gravely injured after applying the faulty product and then entering public like everything would be okay. |
