The Mystery Spot, located near St. Ignace, Michigan, purports to cause
visitors to experience “optical contadictions and physical senations …
that are hard to believe” (according to the official website). I would
like to check out these claims and see whether there is any scientific basis
for them. I'd appreciate any help you can provide.
We have a mystery spot here in WI. I think that people said things appeared to tilt and do things like roll up hill or be bigger or smaller because of an optical illusion.

We have a mysterys spot here in California also. It is in Santa Cruz. It sounds like the one in WI is the same thing. Here, things appear to roll uphill and, tilt the wrong way. I believe there are quite a few unusual things going on up there.
We have a mystery spot here in Texas. I think it's in Crawford. Many strange and unexplainable things happen there and there's often MIBs to be seen.

When one builds a crooked house on lopsided land in the midst of tall trees, one will not see things as they are one would expect them to be. The point of reference one is used to will be out of kilter and subsequently, it can look like water runs up hill and level things arn't. I think that I'll build me a "Mystery Spot" here in Romania and make some bucks too.
All in all, it was fun, entertaining, the staff was great and I bought the T-shirt.
