Infant Potty Training

 I was looking for potty training information, to start my daughter...I came across this website which seems totally legit...but...it's still really weird!

Ok I'm 15-yrs-old and i need help with potty training my 2-yr-old cousin. I'm babysitting him and his 5-yr-old brother over the summer two days a week and I get a bonus if I reach the goal of "potty trained" HELP! I need some tips before I start!

I doubt this is real...I was just learning in my anatomy and physiology classes that the release of waste is a visceral reflex in an infant because the nerves connected to those sphincter muscles are unmeyelinated. I also did a google search to take a look at what other sites say and they're all either based on that one author's books and website or they all scream "junk science."
