No, that's not a shadow. Scroll down to the bottom to see the water-like feature. But if there was water on Mars we would have heard about it in the news. |

Ah. Well The "top left hook" seemed too obvious.
Yes the "puddle" at the bottom also looks like water.
I'm sure that's just what we want it to be too. |

This looks like a really up-close picture, for one thing; which means that perhaps it is some chemical dumped out of space equipment or something... but it doesn't look like martian geography anyways. More like some bad picture someone took. Where did you read that this was from mars? |

Hairy is right. It IS vodka. Vodka! Grey Goose, anyone?
Rex D is right. It is too cold on the surface of Mars for liquid water.
Paranormal.about.com is about on the same level as Coast to Coast with George Noorey: hogwash. They try to purport themselves to be more serious, like snopes.com, but I beg to differ. |

Bug it isn't vodka, it is moonshine and there isn't any left because the martians drank it all! |

It's a great thought about vodka or even a martian urine Well I think we'll never know for sure what is there in a fact for sure. And I don't mean water or something. I mean that they will tell us just what they want to tell us and what they want us to tell to each other. |

I still say the martians play games seeing who can pee on the moving target the most. Wouldn't you if you were on such a dull and boring planet? I'd even pee on astronauts when they came to mars. Astronauts are moving targets, aren't they? That's kinda' like this game I invented called "go to the middle east and touch as many people as you can with your left hand in one minute." I'm thinking about making a point system. |
