Okay. It was my fault that wasn't working. When I activated the message boards two or three days ago, I forgot to click the button to allow images in the comments. Seems to be working now. |

What a frightening apple ... you know I come to a conclusion, that if you cann't reach something then there is some divine reason for that... maybe you do not need to see it at all. By the way the word to submit was - "ill". Is that a sign or a programmed word for the thread? |

You know, he should sell that on eBay, since that's obviously the face of Jack Skelington. |

Y'know, if the rot had appeared in the same formation, but upside down, no-one would've thought anything of it, and it would've been thrown away as bad fruit...
Rod, where's the toothpick? |

That's actually a pretty cute apple...heh.
We used to have apple trees when I was a kid, and I'd almost forgotten how spotty/mishappen/gnarly-looking homegrown apples look. Makes you wonder what they do to the grocery-store fruit to get it so flawless... |

"Rod, where's the toothpick?" - S....
It's a parody of a movie line (So I Married An Axe Murderer)...
Mike Myers is bugging a kid about how big his head is, and he says "Would ya look at the size of that kid's head! It's the size of a planetoid and it has it's own weather system! Looks like an orange on a toothpick! "
I also contained such gems as...
May Mackenzie: Charlie, hand me the paper.
Charlie Mackenzie: Mom, I find it interesting that you call The Weekly World News "the paper." A paper contains facts.
Harriet Michaels: Do you actually like haggis?
Charlie Mackenzie: No, I think it's repellent in every way. In fact, I think most Scottish cuisine is based on a dare.
I stole the direct quotes from this IMDB page. Mostly because it's a tad more accurate than my memory when it comes to quotes. |

Ok. So I'm a little bit clueless when it comes to most pop culture references. Especially when it comes to movies I've seen once on commercial tv.
Katherine, they treat fruit destined for our local grocers with plenty of pesticides...plus, you expect an apple to look a certain way, so when they do get flawed fruit, they don't release them for sale...although I think we get all rubbish here...it looks okay, then when you go to pick it up, it disintegrates! |

And, of course, The Simpsons.
Damn, I just googled him (Are my fingers cold, Dan?), and you can add Batman.
Shit, I never even knew he had anything to do with Surf II... Buzz Cola, anyone? |
