"I was working in my backyard last weekend, and I happened to look up and I saw this thing staring at me," The Truro man said Friday, referring to the apple his wife Michelle named Mr. Happy.
His Cortland apple, now a dull auburn colour and with wrinkled skin, was smiling at him.
Two dime-sized rotten spots make up the eyes, a third stands in for the nose, and four small marks curve up into a grin.
At first, he thought it was a joke.
"I thought my neighbour Calvin was over and poked it with a pencil or something," said the 36-year-old Halifax Regional Municipality employee.
"But when I got up close to it, I could see that's the way the bad spots formed."
Alex, if that doesn't work would you get in trouble with the Herald if I snag the pic and host it at a free image hosting site then display it in the forum that way?
Thanks for all the trouble finding a working link Myst. What would we do without you? Keep talking I guess. That does not look like a smiley face. It looks like the apple has herpes.
Well I did start the thread and I felt I needed to fix it, I tend to be rather persistent because I hate to be beaten!
Without me here all of you would go on being your silly selfs only I would miss out on all the fun.

That would make sense. Shows how much I pay attention. This smiley is title snake, but doesn't he look more like he's laughing so hard he's crying, or crying and yelling?
